Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon Friday, Jan 18 and Saturday, Jan 19 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM Dollywood’s Imagination Library and Little Engine Playhouse present: Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon. Based on the book by Patty Lovell, Molly Lou Melon is short and clumsy–and has a voice that sounds like a bullfrog being squeezed by a boa constrictor. But her grandmother has always told her to walk proud, smile big, and sing loud, and she takes that advice to heart. Intended for ages 2-6 but all are welcome. Presented in the Children’s Theatre. Music Production Master Class Every Monday 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM Lean how to make beats, produce music tracks, and record live musicians and singers in Studio NPL’s audio production suite. These workshops are open to producers of all levels, as well as songwriters, singers, rappers, and anyone interested in producing their own music. Complete the certification program to be cleared to run your own recording sessions. For teens in grades 9-12. Hosted by Southern Word. Photography and Graphic Design Every Monday 3:30 PM With an introduction to the vocabulary of photography, the mechanics of a camera, and basics of photo composition, students will gain a robust foundation for exploring their world through a camera lens and the art of graphic design. New Year, New You Every Monday when school is in session 3:30 PM Make 2019 the best year yet: create crafts to help you achieve your goals, including a savings bank and whiteboard calendar. Video and Film Production Every Tuesday 3:30 PM Teens dive into various roles of those involved in the film and television industry, including storyboarding and scriptwriting, voice-over training, lighting, and advanced camera operation. Music Production Studio Every Tuesday through Friday 3:00 PM Teen producers of all levels, including songwriters, singers, and rappers who are interested in producing their own music, will learn how to make beats and make music tracks using Logic Pro. Participating artists will have access to Studio NPL’s recording studios. Hosted by Southern Word. Wired Wednesdays Every Wednesday 3:30 PM Teens use software to design and print 3D models, vinyl decals and graphics, and invent with robotics and engineering tools. They learn STEAM skills while acquiring techniques to invent their world. For teens in grades 7-12. Fiction Writing Workshop Every Wednesday 3:30 PM These workshops are for teens interested in creating short stories and other forms of fiction. Workshops lead to publishing a final anthology.
