PATH BREAKER STUDIO PROJECT YEAR 3 Prommitr film studio is Thai production house that created lots of Thai history movies such as “Legend of King Naresuan”.The developer of the studio saw the potential of the filming area that can be both theme park and outdoor studio at the same time. From the brife, I decided to make an adventure theme park that makes tourist feel like they are the ancient warrior in the movie.

feel the historic local village ambient before heading to the city, passing the overall scenic viewpoint.

The Journey of ancient warrior Tourists as ancient warriors, travel along historic paths searching for the origin of Bangkok city. The historic paths start from the rural area through combat field, explore in imagination city, end with the greatest show in beautiful Bangkok city where is the origin of the warriors.

Rural Journey Start the warrior journey, watch the stories in the movie tunnel. Feel the historic local village ambient before heading to the city, passing the overall scenic viewpoint.

Combat Journey Travel into the combat field through the elephant arch. Can be both a shooting area and a festival area.

Explore Journey Lost in the imagination world. Warrior has to pass an extreme coaster and rafting route to explore Emerald city.

Urban Journey Back to Bangkok city. Breadbasket city with the greatest show. Water and rain storage are under rice field structure. Studio and shooting storage are hide in the modern building.

MAKKASAN EQULITY PARK STUDIO PROJECT YEAR 4 This project is to develop “Makkasan” the old train factory into public park. The site is located in the middle of Bangkok between poor and wealthy area. I decided to create a public park that can bring uo the quility of people life in the way that anybody can be use even the handicap.

Urban farm Prototype area for urban agriculture in the middle of Bangkok. Reuse abandoned train wheel to create outdoor furniture with the circle repetition pattern.

Co-working Space Keep old warehouse footprint to define the space area. Change the space area by moving the yellow line on the existed rail structure.

Playground Create a junk playground and old train bogie pavilion to improve kids imagination and creativity. Fill the area up with berms to prevent the existed oil contamination from users.

Community museum & Wetland Adapt old worker housing into a museum by reconstructing the structure and hiding the water filter machine in the building. Change the area to the wetland for fauna and city water management.

Equlity park The overall area is flat with no steps for handicaps, only ramps and slopes. Open the view from roads and surrounding area for everyone to access the park and the historic 2465 Makkasan warehouse.

304 Rais 486,600 sq.m.

WARI KIRI STUDIO PROJECT YEAR 4 This project is to develop the old quarry mine in Chonburi, Thailand. The slope and site condition are very extreme. In the middle it has two main ponds that take about 75 percent of the site area. From all the condition I decided to create fresh water diving and learning center which can be both recreational space and educational space.

PHASE 1

PHASE 2

ZONING

CIRCULATION

Connectivity and System I separate the diving area into the private zone to control diver circulation and to support the access from the emergency service. connect each area with a boardwalk to reduce the dead load on the construction. In public zone contains a scenic viewpoint, rest area, sports zone, amphitheatre, and learning centre.

Training Pool

Sunset Terrace

Phasing Studies I have to think about the reclamation and design. In the reclamation part, I separate the process into two phases. First phase I choose to built and open the diving center to collect the money for a big soil reclamation in second phase that use more money. After two phases this place is going to be new dive site and aqua learning center.

Scenic Viewpoint

Sport Zone

Slope Design I choose to use the slope condition to make a good panoramic view in scenic viewpoint and sunset terrace area. In the training pool area, I did some soil grading to make the building looks like it came out from the mine wall. People walking around this area can see the diver training in the pool from four meters glass wall. Moreover, surrounded by xeriscape, a style of landscape design requiring little irrigation, to prevent erosion in this old quarry mine.

206 Rais 329,600 sq.m.

AYUTTHAYA REDEVELOPMENT STUDIO PROJECT YEAR 5 Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning created a new policy for transport and traffic in Ayutthaya to support future high-speed rail stations and commercial areas. We worked as a group to help Fine Arts Department study the alternative of city strategy and balance between future development and the valued historic site of Ayutthaya. I was responsible for Commercial Area design and development.

Heritage Ayutthaya Ayutthaya Train Station was built in King Rama Fifth era. The original structure is still in use, making this one of Thailand’s oldest railway stations, full of tangible and intangible elements.

KHLONGSUAN MARKET COMMUNITY THESIS PROJECT In 117 rais (187,200 sq.m.) project contains numerous buildings and landscape elements that can be separated into three parts. Firstly, Market Community Zone, located in an architectural conservation area, focusing on preservation and cultural tourism. Secondly, the Rice Learning Center Zone, brings ‘Na Kha Wung’ and the rice milling process back for tourists and the local new generation to learn in an abandoned rice mill structure. Thirdly, Sustainable Livelihood Zone, solves environmental, economic, and social problems by creating sustainable green public space for the community. In the end, from the intention to conserve and develop Khlongsuan Market Community will give the alternative livelihood for locals, renew the cultural tourism for the province and create an authentic cultural learning center for Thais.

Environment and Community Studies The uniqueness of the location itself made Khlongsuan Market and rice mill become nodes for travelling merchants and locals through network of waterways before reaching to Bangkok. When the time goes by, roads come in, local livelihoods change. The importance of the market and steam powered rice mill had faded and had been replaced by new technology.

WATER LINKS International workshop of urban and architectural design INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP OF URBAN AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN XII edition Lecco, Italy CONTEMPORARY CITIES AND URBAN REGENERATION - Lecco

TEAM - 4 M.T. Cirillo, I. Donato, R. Nasha, I. Tzorva, L. Yanisa

WATER LINKS With all the problems above, “Water Links” come out with three main goals that will mainly focus on two nodes; the existing node and the new node. The existing node is the intersection area around the old bridge and the new node is the intersection area around the train bridge. The first goal is to make the pedestrian path, cycling path, and roads being cleared from each other by using the green area and the different level of each path on both nodes. The second goal solving the second problem is to break the wall barrier. On the existing node, we use the old wall under the bridge to be the new green area enclosure while the new node is changing old concrete wall to be the new green wall with floating walkway along the wall. The last goal is to link people to the river by add some platform for people to have a chance to engage the river surface. Other problems that “Water Links” also want to solve after we reach three main goal would be the Viscontea Island being left alone in the middle of the Adda river since people cannot cross the river to use the island. Furthermore, the Malgrate waterfront is not linked with the Lecco waterfront. So, the project will create a linking bridge from the Lecco waterfront for people to use the island again and will create a visual linking by making the multi-purposed platform on the Malgrate waterfront for appreciating the island by visual. In conclusion, “Water Links” wants both local people and tourists to get the best experience for appreciating the Adda riverside. We surely believe that if everyone see how beauty the Adda riverside is, they will realize how important to preserve the natural environment of Lecco and the world.
