Svetlana Volkova tragically died

All summer in the front of the building old ladies were selling cucumbers, tomatoes, marrows, pumpkins, and beans grown in their gardens. And they put their bikes against the wall that hindered passing people and just did not look very aesthetically pleasing. So it is a very good that September, 10 a bicycle parking was set. September 26 at half past 10 p.m. on Nezavisimosti Avenue near the metro station “Uruch’e” an accident with a democratic opposition activist Svetlana Volkova happened. A 31-year driver of Mercedes knocked a young woman when she was crossing the road in inappropriate place. Svetlana died on the spot. The fact that the victim was Svetlana, confirmed her sister Elena during an identification parade. Svetlana’s funeral will be held on September 28. It is known that relatives decided to make the cremation of the body. September, 19 was her 29th birthday. She was not married. We remembered her as a positive, strong, extremal and active person. She was found of rope jumping. Svetlana loved travelling, freedom and hitch-hiking. She was a real fighter and dialed with such organization as campaign “Tell the Truth”, “Nash Dom”, OGP, and “Alternative”. Has repeatedly been a blood donor. She was a soul of the company, liked to spent spare time with friends, shared her funny mood with them and sang songs. The civil campaign «Our Home» expresses condolences to relatives and loved ones of Svetlana. It was scary and painful to know that this young, cheerful and energetic girl left this word so suddenly and absurd.
Citizens of Mostovskiy district are dissatisfied with the condition of local transport Passengers were outraged by mud in the salons and the technical condition of the buses that ply across Mostovskiy district of Grodno oblast. For example, a local resident Olga, who periodically uses public transport, resents the fact that inside the buses are extremely dirty. Seats are heavily dusted and people have to wipe them or lay a newspaper to sit down. Those who get the window seat, constantly have to watch out for in order not to touch the glass, because it is black from dirt. «And one day - the woman said - going by bus was impossible at all. On a gravel road it was incredibly shaken. People became to feel bad. The bus doors opened on the move. But if someone needed to go out they had to open other automatically doors by hand. In addition, heavy bolts fell off from the ceiling. Thank God, it was a weekday; there were not a lot of people, so fortunately no one was hurt». Woman is indignant at such state of affairs. She says that it is impossible to understand such attitude to people. «If a bus is mostly used by villagers, it is possible to accept such conditions of transport, isn’t it?» asked she a rhetorical question. LAW HELP Social standards: common standings Resolution of the Council of Ministers № 724 from 30 May 2003 «On measures to implement the system of social standards of public service of the Republic» (with subsequent amendments) approved a system of social standards. Regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee until July 1, 2003 developed and approved a list of social standards of public service in the administrative-territorial units with taking into account their specificity and infrastructure development of each of these 7-administrative-territorial units. Executive Committees should ensure the analysis of the public service in accordance with the norms of social standards and update the information of the implementation and operation of social standards in cities and regions contained in the passports - at least once every six months, and in the townships and rural councils - at least once a year. State social standards of public service of the Republic: are mandatory for use in organizations of all forms of ownership; used in the formation of the republican and local budgets, as well as state funds and implemented within allocated for these purposes, used in the creation of social infrastructure in the agricultural settlements in accordance with the state program. Personal responsibility for the failure of standards of social standards of public service, not taking measures to their timely implementation and enforcement carried by the leaders of the republican authorities of state administration, local executive and administrative authorities (executive committees, administrations). Currently there are 43 basic social standards of public service in the following 8 areas: utilities-12, education - 1, culture - 1, communication - 4, transport - 6, social services - 1, health - 4, trade and consumer services - 5. Parts of the social standards are also divided into separate independent substandards.
