Light Vessel

Throughout architecture light plays a vital role as well as shadows. To do this we chose 3 images and recreated them to understand how light works in different habitats. The studio was tasked with creating a light vessel to study the qualities that light is capable of creating. The vessel created was focused on the study of the light quality it created rather than the shadows produced. My design began as a triangular prism with both ends removed. One of the ends had slits that intercepted each other in varying angles. The model also included a colored wall to create a glowing quality once the light shined through the slits.
