ver the ChristmasNew Year holiday, Demi Moore spent a lusty, luxurious week steaming up the posh resort of Be Tulum in Tulum, Mexico, with Sean Friday, a 27-year-old drummer for the L.A. band Dead Sara — a good friend of her daughter, Rumer, 25, who came along on the trip. Flaunting a sleek bikini body the envy of a woman half her age, Demi couldn’t keep her hands of the densely-tattooed rocker. It was a far cry from the troubled woman who split from Ashton Kutcher — an anguished two-year separation ending with their divorce in November — during which the superstar famed for her bold sexuality became an object of pity. Rumors of infidelity had clouded their six-year, May-September marriage; ultimately Ashton, 35, cheated after a wild hot tub romp at San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel. Scorned and humiliated, Demi, 51, spiraled downward, landing in a Utah rehab facility for “exhaustion.” Though she recovered, there was more pain to come: Ashton’s romance with age-appropriate Mila Kunis, 30, a saucer-eyed siren often listed among 4 JANUARY 20, 2014 OK!

DON’T EXPECT A WEDDING GIFT
Demi has remained relatively calm in the face of Ashton and Mila’s wedding plans. “But whenever a new set of snaps come out of him all over Mila, she does get upset,” a source tells OK!. “She really thought he was the love of her life and instead he turned out to be a cheat.” Hollywood’s most desirable women — and soon to be the next Mrs. Kutcher. “Demi’s heard Ashton and Mila are tying the knot,” an insider says. “She’s had phone calls from everyone wanting to see she was okay.”
PASSIONATE PDA The stage was set for Demi to succumb to jealousy and self-pity, but she instead
decided to get revenge in the best way possible — with a hot new romance! “She arrived on Christmas Day at around 5 PM without Sean,” an eyewitness at the resort tells OK!. “She seemed very mellow, mostly hanging with Rumer, and her friends. But the next morning around 9 AM, Demi was alone at the beach bar area drinking tea when suddenly Sean showed up and kissed her passionately on the mouth. Her whole persona changed as she was absolutely glowing around him. “On the 26th they had breakfast in bed and finally made it out to the beach at noon,” adds the source. “They were in the water all day, constantly hugging and kissing. It was obvious Sean adores her and he wasn’t shy about showing it. He would wrap his arms around her and pull her in tight to kiss her lips. The only time they dialed down the afection was in front of Rumer, who obviously didn’t want to see her mom making out in front of her.” You can’t blame the kid for being a bit squeamish. After all, it was only a few months ago that Demi briefly dated Rumer’s ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old restaurant heir Harry Morton — then followed that up by stepping out with Harry’s gazillionaire father, Peter. Still, sources reveal that it was actually Rumer who set up her mom

WHO’S THAT GUY? “Sean is not the six-packed hunk Demi normally goes for, but she loves his whole approach to life,” an insider tells OK!. “He’s super laid-back and has a wicked sense of humor. He’s an incredibly talented musician who plays drums but he plays several other instruments too. He’s also got a great singing voice and would make up little funny ditties and sing them to Demi when she least expected it. Sean’s a very funny guy and has a liberal attitude to life that she finds totally refreshing.”

She got his number from Rumer the next day.” Still, as spectacular as she looks, insiders are concerned that another romance with a younger man might also end in tears — or worse, public ridicule. Demi, however, is apparently unconcerned. “Demi couldn’t care less about the cougar tag,” the insider tells OK!. “She’s tried guys her own age, but finds them so boring and always with an agenda. These young guys are just about having fun and don’t feel the need to pressure her into a long-term relationship.”
JOINED AT THE HIP For the last week of December, at least, Demi and her latest boy toy were inseparable, enjoying quiet breakfasts in their private villa — complete with personal butler — taking long strolls on the white sands, holding hands wherever they went. “At one point they were joined by a couple and their small child. Demi and Sean really enjoyed playing with the kid, building sand castles — they looked like a family of their own,” the source reports. 6 JANUARY 20, 2014 OK!
night, they dined with a group that included Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler. “Their New Year’s Eve was wild,” the source tells OK!. “They were drinking from morning till night. The resort organized a party for VIP guests on the beach in a Moroccan style. There were low beach chairs, a campfire, a private DJ and luxury food and drinks. Demi was with Sean, of course, along with Sting and Trudie — and Orlando Bloom and some of his friends joined them. “The atmosphere was great — a lot of laughing and dancing,” the source adds. “Demi asked the DJ to play ‘Conga’ by Gloria Estefan. At midnight she planted a big passionate kiss on Sean that lasted for over three minutes while fireworks exploded overhead. They didn’t stay much longer, leaving for their room at around 1:30 AM.”
“Demi laughed with Sean like a big kid,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “She was playfully screaming while Sean tossed her in the water.”
According to the source, Demi poured on the PDA during a Dec. 28 video call to friends via her iPad — “sitting on Sean’s lap, smiling with his arms wrapped tightly around her.” By 8 AM the next morning, Demi and Sean were back on the beach, laughing, drinking champagne and enjoying their romance full-throttle. “She was constantly holding his hand and he kissed her forehead,” the eyewitness tells OK!. “That night Demi and Sean ate at the exclusive Casa Violeta, where reservations alone are $300 per person. There were not many guests in the restaurant and the atmosphere was relaxing. They had a nice table with candles on it. “Demi was having a great time dancing, laughing and hugging and kissing Sean for three hours. He has great taste for wines and they drank one of the most expensive the restaurant had [a $39,700 a bottle of ] 1978 Romanée-Conti Burgundy.” On Dec. 30, Demi and her beau spent a languid day including some yoga and meditation on the beach. Relations became strained afer Demi announced plans to pen a tell-all (she didn’t). “She was going to open up about everything including her marriage to Rumer’s dad, Bruce Willis — something Rumer was very much against. But that’s all in the past now and not a day goes by that Rumer and Demi don’t speak.”
TAKE THAT, ASHTON All in all, it seems the very definition of a revenge romance, as if stagemanaged for Ashton’s benefit, as her anger over Ashton’s betrayal continues to linger. “She’s a hell of a lot better now than she was a year ago and having the divorce finalized helps, but she’ll always resent how Ashton treated her,” the insider tells OK!. “Demi’s banned his name from being mentioned in her presence. But at least she’s finding solace in the arms of these younger guys nows.” OK! Rumer snapped this selfie on the vacay.

onstruction work repairing a seawall in front of Taylor Swif’s Westerly, R.I., mansion has some neighbors seeing “Red” — and not in a good way! Neighbors and surfers are protesting that the massive construction will change the coastline and could prevent their access to the water’s edge. But the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council has no problem with Taylor’s plan, saying she is simply replacing large boulders that have, over decades, washed out into the Atlantic Ocean. With the boulders returned to the shore, locals say, a small sandy path in front of Taylor’s estate that allows public access will be covered with rocks. ennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were in need of a little R, R, & R — rest, relaxation, and romance — and they found it all in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After several months of essentially living apart, while Justin worked in New York, and Jen stayed behind at their Bel Air mansion, the couple moved beyond their recent relationship trouble with a cozy trip to one of Jen’s favorite places. There they rang in the New Year surrounded by sand, friends and the hot Mexican sun. “Cabo is like necessary therapy for Jen,” says a close friend of the couple. Even back when she was dating Brad Pitt, Jen used to migrate south of the border whenever temperatures in L.A. dipped below pool-worthy. And now, says the friend, “She goes two or three times a year. It’s like going to the spa for a very long weekend.” Jen and Justin, engaged since August 2012, have been traveling a rocky road to be wed, spurred by disagreements over where to get married and even where to live. But after several days lounging poolside, the power couple is very much back on track. Says an insider, “They’re stronger than ever and the connection they had in Cabo is proof. The vacation was just what they needed — friends, relaxation and loads of laughs. Jen and Justin make each other smile and everyone commented on how much they’re back on form. It’s no surprise. A week prior to Tori’s family outing, a 28-year-old woman had accused Dean, 47, of cheating with her during a two-night fling in Toronto in early December while he was there filming Chopped: Canada. Tori, says an insider, was humiliated by the story — and vowed to teach Dean a lesson. “When Tori stepped out without her wedding ring, Dean knew she meant business,” says an insider. “He’s still saying the claims are exaggerated, but he’s told Tori he’ll do anything to make it up to her and has begged her not to leave him.” Tori has always been suspicious of Dean — and for good reason.

According to the queen’s strict house rules, “Cressy” was barred from the royal Christmas because she’s not ofcially part of the family yet. Directions: 1. Place the shrimp in a large zip-top bag. Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and pour over shrimp, turning to coat. Place in the fridge for a few hours. If using wood skewers, soak in water for half an hour before using. 2. Drain the shrimp, thread onto skewers and cook over medium heat on grill for 5 to 7 minutes. Keep turning and basting them with the marinade as they cook. Remove from heat and keep warm. (Alternatively, sauté the shrimp, without skewers, in a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan on top of the stove.) 3. Mix all of the ingredients for the Cajun butter together in a small bowl and serve with the cooked shrimp.

I think people have a preconceived notion about what’s going on. People think they know what the situation is, and people don’t have a shadow of an inclination as to what’s really going on.
Does money change things? People see you diferently when you have money. You earn a nice living. What does that mean for you? Financial independence means choice, it means freedom. I can’t imagine being a woman who has to depend on someone else to have the things that she wants, to support her child, to feel validation. What are your hopes for the new year? How did you shake off your emotional scenes with Meryl Streep, who plays your mom? We hugged a lot. I always had to look her right in the eyes before we parted ways to make sure: “We’re all good? We’re kidding, right? ” Was it fun re-teaming with Dermot Mulroney, your co-star in My Best Friend’s Wedding? Dermot and I are great pals. When he told me he had gotten the part, we squealed like little girls. Even when he had a day off, he would run lines with me at 6 AM in exchange for a cup of my exceptionally good coffee. It was nice to have my rock-steady there when we’re all away from our families [filming in Oklahoma]. What was the funniest thing that happened with him? Watching him eat 16 chickens during the dinner scene! Did your children visit the set? They rode their bikes around a little cul-de-sac. [Being a mom means] the world [to me]. August: Osage County opened nationwide Jan. 10.

Michael: Mema is my everything. I lost my mother at a young age and my father was unable to cope, so Mema raised me. I could never begin to repay her for all she has done for me. Michael lost his mother [my sister] at a young age and it makes me happy to see my mom doing such a great job raising him…. Sometimes she babies him, but I am there to “man him up” if things get too fluffy. What was your most glamorous moment on the first season? Dee Dee: We went to a real fancy salon in Hollywood. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I had sympathy for those girls as they had to make my 1970s, B-movie hairdo look posh. It is the beginning of many Hollywood experiences. I will boldly go where no chubby girl has gone before! What was the biggest adjustment to living in Hollywood? Dee Dee: This town has got to gain some weight — and it just did! OK!
