This year’s festival is dedicated to the actors, writers, directors and producers who share their beguiling art with us in the dark, to Napa Valley’s wizards of food, wine and hospitality who help us deliver an unparalleled experience, and to everyone who has helped us get to where we are today, most especially those who have been with us from the beginning.
6TH ANNUAL NAPA VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL
Welcome
2016 marks the beginning of our second chapter. Last year, at the 2015 fest, we closed the books on our first five years bringing the entertainment industry into Napa Valley and celebrating the best of film, food and wine. Like building a new home, or putting in a new vineyard, our team and our partners have laid down a solid foundation and are looking ahead to a very bright future. One of the greatest rewards along this journey is watching the sense of community develop between artist and audience, sharing in the appreciation of positive, inspiring and entertaining cinematic storytelling. Another is witnessing the mutual respect between filmmakers and entertainment industry executives on the one hand, and our local artists in food, wine and hospitality on the other. When we first decided to create this new festival back in the dark recessionary days of 2009, we had a hunch this could be a powerful combination; these next five years will illuminate just how transformative these experiences can be.
