Life On The Line In rough and tumble southeast Texas, Beau Ginner (John Travolta) and his crew of eccentric linemen are scrambling to upgrade the electrical grid. The linemen work hundreds of feet in the air on wires carrying as much as 500,000 volts of electricity. Beau is haunted by the electrocution death of his younger brother years ago, a tragedy that left Beau raising his niece, Bailey, on his own. Bailey is now a young woman, and Beau is determined that she will go to college and have a better life than his. As a major storm approaches and the linemen deal with a series of increasingly dangerous breakdowns, stress mounts, relationships are tested, and each character puts his or her life on the line.
