Suggested Itinerary

DAY 1 - Depart Lagos for Idanre Hills. We climb the hills to the ancient settlement and get insights to the culture and lifestyles of a people who were famous for their gallantry in old times. We enjoy photo sessions at 'Wonderful Rock' and other instagrammable spots on the hills and then descend to some entertainment by a local cultural troupe whilst sipping palmwine We then depart to Akure for overnight.

DAY 2 - We set out early to visit Ikogosi Warm Springs, said to be the only place in the world where there is a confluence of a warm and cold spring. Afterwards we experience the nearby Arinta Waterfalls. We then proceed the the seven-layered Olumirin Waterfalls in Erin-Ijesha to cap a day of revelling in nature's beauty. Overnight in Akure.

DAY 3 - We depart Akure for Osun Oshogbo Sacred Grove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The landscape of the grove and its meandering river is dotted with sanctuaries and shrines, sculptures and art works in honour of Osun and other deities famous in Yoruba land. We depart to visit a few attractions in Ile-Ife, regarded as the ancestral and spiritual home of the Yorubas. Overnight in Ife.

DAY 4 - Transfer to Ado Awaye via Ibadan. Experience the Aso Oke Market where we learn about the beautiful craft practised by generations of the indigenes. Overnight in Ado Awaye.

DAY 5 - Depart Ado Awaye early for Abeokuta. We stop at the iconic Ado Awaye Hanging Lake, one of only two hanging lakes in the world. We then proceed to also experience the famous Olumo Rock in Abeokuta. Overnight in Abeokuta.

DAY 6 - Departure for Lagos after a visit to the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
