When I was a kid, I had watched some movies that are acted by Chaplin and all these movies had left very deep impression in my head. Therefore, I chose Chaplin to be the resource of inspiration for my finial clothes design.
Ancient Words
We went to visit a museum. Saw a lot of works from artists. I chose Marx’s work. She’s a British painter. Also, she’s a famous designer on planks. By the development about her, I found many her works. Mostly of Her works are abstract pattern, or use all kinds of animals.
My work for her further extension, feel like some of the ancient words, calligraphy and painting on the wall. So I did the research. I find some pictures to reference and extend.
My design chooses laser cut, because I want to use laser cut to make the design, like carved words on the wall. There is a concave and convex levels, and stereo. I have developed my pictures, and design out some design. Some integration pattern based on animals and abstract patterns. I put my cloth paste, allows it to harden. In some parts of the clothes, I use the laser cut. At last I make the garment.

Self-evaluation: I have preferable experience about fashion design, dress products exploitation and scheme, costume color scheme, fashion design express. I can use Photoshop, Adobe illustrator. Meanwhile, I use outof-class time to participate in social practice activity. Such as ONLY. I have taken part in fashion design, market positioning and sales work, In this companies, therefore, I believe I have ability to be competent at fashion design. However, I have to say that I have a lot of disadvantages as well. My English capability is not good enough. Therefore, it is a little bit hard to express my mind in English. Meanwhile, although I have learnt fashion design for a long period. There are many details maybe I have ignored so that it is a little bit hard to finish all steps independently.
