ဒီ feature ရဲ့ ေကာင္းမြန္တဲ့ လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္တစ္ခုသည္ SwitchB မွာ device တစ္ခု ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ျပီး ၄င္း port ကို အနက္ေရာင္ VLAN မွာ assign ျပုလုပ္ျပီးေနာက္ ၄င္းအနက္ေရာင္ VLAN ကို SwitchB ေပၚမွာ activate လုပ္ဖို့ လိုအပ္လာတဲ့အခါ ၊ SwitchB သည္ အသစ္ျဖစ္တဲ့ active VLAN အေၾကာင္းကို SwitchB သို့ အေၾကာင္းၾကားျပီး ၊ switches 2 ခုစလံုးသည္ trunk`s configuration မွာ VLAN ကို dynamically ျပန္လည္ ေပါင္းထည့္တယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ Figure 13-10 မွာ ျပသထားတဲ့အတိုင္း PC-C, PC-D နဲ့ new device တို့အၾကား frames ေတြ အျပန္အလွန္ ေပးပို့သြားႏိူင္တယ္။ exam watch default မွာ VLANs အားလံုးသည္ trunk တစ္ခုမွာ traverse လုပ္ႏိူင္ၾကတယ္။ switches 2 ခုအၾကားရွိ inactive VLANs ေတြကို dynamically remove ျပုလုပ္ဖို့ trunks connection မ်ားေပၚမွာ VTP pruning ကို အသံုးျပဳတယ္။ ၄င္းကို VTP server switch မွာ enable ျပုလုပ္ရမယ္၊ အျခား switches မ်ားသည္ servers or clients ေတြ ျဖစ္မယ္။
