That was after new statistics suggested that in the US, Pokémon Go has become as popular as Twitter and more popular than Tinder. However, Survey Monkey now reports that the game usage peaked in the US on July 14, a week after its initial release in the country. Daily active users were estimated at just over 25 million on that day, with figures declining since. On July 20, Pokémon Go had around 20 million daily users. Meanwhile, US downloads of the app peaked on the day it was released (July 7), with nearly six million downloads on its launch date alone. On July 20, only around one million US users downloaded the app.
