She’s so unnerved, she’s moved out of her Bel Air house and back into her mom Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills, Calif., home, an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “Kim says Kris’ house is the place she feels safest,” says the insider. Kim, 36, brought daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 11 months, with her so the three won’t be alone in the family’s sprawling $20 million estate while her husband, Kanye West, is on the road for the rest of the year on his Saint Pablo Tour. “Kim feels a sense of security being at her mom’s mansion,” the insider adds. Kris, 61, loves her grandkids and is rooting for Kim’s emotional recovery after her ordeal, but she isn’t thrilled about this latest development. Kim and Kanye lived with her off and on for nearly three years while the Bel Air home was under construction before finally moving out in March. “Kris has hit her limit when it comes to sharing her home with Kim and her entourage,” says the insider. A year ago, the momager bought a $1.65 million condo in LA. “She prefers to stay there,” the insider says. “Instead of fighting with Kim, she just sleeps somewhere else.”

And while Brad has refrained from speaking out about Angie — who blindsided him with a divorce filing and request for sole custody of their brood in September— he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get custody of his kids. “Brad is formally in the process of getting Angelina’s records from when she was hospitalized at UCLA’s psych ward,” reveals an insider. (Angelina voluntarily checked herself into the facility and was placed on a 72-hour hold shortly before she wed Billy Bob Thornton in May 2000.) “It was a very dark time in Angelina’s life, but Brad thinks it’s absolutely relevant.” Brad’s advisers think the records give him grounds to go further than his current quest for joint custody. “His legal team is urging him to fight for sole custody,” the insider says. So far, Brad’s reluctant to do so, hoping that by taking the high road, he can one day amicably co-parent with Angie, 41. “Brad’s trying to work through this,” the insider adds, “without a lot of anger.”

Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry are back on prime-time TV, getting laughs on CBS’ Man With a Plan and The Odd Couple, and David Schwimmer’s turn as Robert Kardashian in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story earned him an Emmy nod. But there’s an even bigger project in the works. Twelve years after Friends taped its last episode, the guys are reuniting with their female co-stars from the beloved sitcom, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, for a scripted Friends reunion, Life & Style has exclusively learned. (As Janice would say, “Oh. My. Gawd.”) “Top-secret negotiations

have begun,” reveals an insider. “NBC is champing at the bit over Friends coming back for one big episode. They feel it will be a ratings and advertising bonanza.” Huge salaries are being tossed around to make it a reality, in part because not everyone’s so eager to return. Why? Despite the cast’s reputation as a tight-knit group who went from unknowns to megastars — and mega-paychecks — together, the series was plagued by inflated egos, substance abuse, unwanted advances and catfights, the insider tells Life & Style. “The network played up the image that all six actors were as close offscreen as they were on-screen, but that wasn’t the truth,” says the insider. “While they’re all much more

More than a decade after the hit show signed off, the gang is headed back to Central Perk! Life & Style has the details — plus all the gossip fans never knew

MORE THAN FRIENDS When the series premiered in 1994 with six fresh faces, no one was sure it would even last a season. It lasted 10. And over that time Jen, now 47, Courteney, 52, Lisa, 53, Matthew, 47, David, 50, and Matt, 49, got very familiar with each other. “There was tons of love drama,” reveals the insider. “One rumor that went around the set was that Courteney and Matthew Perry had a fling.” (Their characters, Monica Geller and Chandler Bing, eventually became a couple on-screen.) For others, there was only unrequited love. “The first season, Matt LeBlanc hit on Jen like crazy,” says the insider. “He was relentless; Jen hated it. She had zero interest in him. Jen thought Matt wasanairheadandaladies’man.” Jen eventually locked lips with her co-star when their characters, Rachel Green and Joey Tribbiani, hooked up in season 10. But the guy who played Ross Geller, her main on-screen love interest, was her true crush. “She said she thought David was smart and great-looking,” shares the insider, noting that a story once spread on set that Jen wanted to be artificially inseminated with David’s sperm. “She

thought he had great genes and would make a great baby daddy.” Jen, Courteney, Matt and Lisa all went on to wed people who weren’t castmates during the show’s run. But only Lisa, Friends’ quirky scene-stealer Phoebe Buffay (who memorably claimed that lobsters mate for life), hasn’t gone through a divorce. Married to French ad exec Michel Stern since 1995, Lisa once tried to warn Jen that her now-ex, Brad Pitt, wasn’t Mr. Right. “Lisa just wasn’t impressed when Jen started dating him,” says the insider. “She thought Brad was a slacker who was full of himself. Jen was annoyed, but years later, after their divorce, she told Lisa that she should havelistenedtoheradvice.”

ANOTHER WARNING Jen didn’t mind sharing her opinion when it came to Courteney’s then-husband, David Arquette. “Jen thought David was bad news,” says the insider. “She would say things to Courteney like, ‘You can do better.’ Courteney resented it, and they didn’t speak for a while.” When the pair (who both dated Counting Crows rocker Adam Duritz inthe’90s)were,well,onabreak,itwas awelcomereprieveforLisa.Earlyonin Friends filming, “Lisa complained that Jen and Court were cliquey,” says the

insider. “She’d constantly say that she felt like the Winona Ryder character in Heathers — the big nerd who was the odd man out with the popular girls.”

TROUBLE ON SET The men of the show grappled with more serious problems. Matthew, who entered rehab twice during Friends’ run, admits that his struggles with Vicodin and alcohol have caused him to barely remember working on seasons three through six. “Half the cast thought he should have been fired, while the other half was super-supportive,” says the insider. “Lisa even suggested the show go on hiatus until Matthewgotbetter.” He wasn’t the only one wrestling with substance abuse. While Joey gave in to excess by donning maternity pants to eat a 19-pound turkey by himself, Matt’s vice was much darker:Headmitshewasarrestedtwicefor DUIs. “Courteney tried organizing an intervention to address his drinking,” the insider reveals. “There was talk of strong-armingMattintorehab.” The cast became adept at keeping their messy personal lives out of the public eye, though. Aside from the high-profile salary ultimatum the group made to producers, each netting astronomical $1 million-per-epi-

But not everyone jumped at the chance. Life & Style has learned that though he was married to Jen at the time, Brad Pitt only agreed to his guest stint as Will (who hated Rachel because she used to bully him) in a Thanksgiving-themed episode because he lost a bet. “Brad told David that he never would have agreed to guest-star, but it was payment for losing a bet to Jen over which one of them could go the longest without smoking pot,” says the insider. (Fun fact: Jen’s current husband, Justin Theroux, has said he turned down a screen test for Friends because he thought the show wouldneverwork.)

BIG NAMES, BIG DRAMA The increasingly famous cast was occasionally starstruck. “Sean Penn was one of their favorite guest stars,” says the insider. “Instead of being a moody hothead like his public persona, he played practical jokes on the cast and ate with them in the commissary. Sean even sent flowers thanking them forhavinghimontheirshow.” Though she was married, Lisa

“fawned over” Sean and seemed to have an innocent crush on the actor, says the insider. Nothing happened between the pair, but Matthew did briefly date another A-list guest star: Julia Roberts. He was alone in his affections, says the insider. “Julia was by far the most-hated guest star,” reveals the insider. “She was standoffish. The cast organized a group dinner to welcome her, and she stood them all up.” When Jen mentioned making a movie with her in the future, “Julia rolled her eyes and walked away,” the insider adds. “Everyone was thrilled when Matthew’s romance with her fizzled.” Another co-star inspired even more hostility: Marcel the monkey. Played by two white-headed capuchins, Ross’ pet was reviled by the Friends cast. While Matthew has complained about having to see the creatures vomiting (a sight more disturbing than Ugly Naked Guy!), David once confessed, “I hate the monkey, I wish it were dead.” Jen wasn’t a fan either. “She got freaked out,” the insider says, “after one of them threw a bra at her when he was only supposed to pick it up.” Jen preferred a calm set, which sometimes irked her castmates. “She once annoyed everyone with her suggestion that they all do a 20-minute group meditation before taping,”

THE ONE WITH THE REUNION The gang famously settled on a group huddle before every episode. And they seemed genuinely happy to see each other in January, when they got together in LA to honor director James Burrows (Matthew introduced the group via pre-recorded tape from London). But getting them all back for the Friends reunion is tougher than, oh, getting a couch up the stairs (pivot!). “Lisa, Matthew and David have been more reluctant than the rest,” reveals the insider, adding that some on the old Friends set felt David gave the impression “he was too good for sitcoms.” Still, money talks. “Word is that Jen would get at least $4 million for a supersize reunion show or TV movie,” says the insider. “Courteney would get about $2 million, and the rest would get $1 million to $1.5 million.” Revivals are all the rage; Gilmore Girls and Full House have both been resurrected on Netflix, and a 10th season of The X-Files premiered in January, nearly 14 years after the original show ended. But a Friends reboot will eclipse them all. “This is epic,” notes the insider. “Friends has fans of all ages throughout the world. The reunion will be a historic TV event.”

The Superhero Slimdown Diet o prepare for the role of sexy hero Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, actor Chris Pratt lost 60 pounds in six months with an intense diet and exercise regimen. Best known pre-Guardians for playing plump Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, Chris had started gaining weight when his wife, actress Anna Faris, was pregnant with their son, Jack, now 4. But the 6-foot-2 actor, now 37, shed the pounds by using a mostly Paleo diet, eating more than he had previously but making sure it was the right food at the right times.

GUARDIAN OF THE CALORIES “Chris is literally a superhero — when told what to do, he goes above and beyond,” says Philip Goglia, Ph.D., founder of Performance Fitness Concepts in

Santa Monica, and author of Turn Up the Heat: Unlock the Fat-Burning Powe of Your Metabolism, who worked closel with Chris to help him slim down. “Carb didn’t work well for him, so we put hi on high-quality protein and fats.” Chr also drank 5 to 6 liters of water per d (see sidebar at right). Even though he was consuming 4,000 calories daily, “His body started changing almost immediately,” says Goglia. “He dropped 1.3 percent of his body fat per week.” Chris also worked out like a maniac, getting into running, swimming, boxing and more. Still, his results were 80 percent due to dietary changes that heated up his metabolism and only 20 percent due to training, Goglia says. The approach gave Chris a chiseled look that you’ll continue to see in the Guardians sequel next May.

So when she recently insisted she’s only had Botox and filler injections, Life & Style turned to the experts for their take. “She’s definitely had a nose job,” says plastic surgeon Dr. Steve Fallek, who does not treat the 38-year-old mom of six. “The bridge of her nose is elevated and thinner, and the tip is more defined.” Dr. Norman Rowe, also not Kim’s doc, agrees that the reality star’s nose looks like it’s changed, and suspects

she’s also had work done on her chin, which he notes looks wider and more masculine. “A chin augmentation is a common adjunct procedure to a rhinoplasty,” he explains. And while Kim is proud of her more luscious lips (“Love my plump pout!” she Snapchatted recently), both docs agree she’s doing too much. “Slow down with the fillers,” advises Dr. Rowe. Confident in her choices, Kim shrugs off any criticism: “I will always nip and tuck if I feel the need to,” asserts the Don’t Be Tardy star. “You only go around one time!”

NOSE Kim’s denied a nose job, but Dr. Schulman suspects otherwise because “the bridge is more narrow and the tip is turned upward.” Cost of rhinoplasty: $10,000.

CHEEKS Dr. David Amron, who is not Kim’s plastic surgeon, says cheek fillers cost $3K a year. But the doc cautions against overdoing it: “She looks older in the ‘after’ photo.”

LIPS “I would suggest a little less filler to keep a more natural look,” says Dr. Schulman. He puts the yearly cost of Kim’s magnified mouth at about $2K.
