Dedicating time for work is essential, however I try to enjoy life as much as possible, by getting involved in outdoor activities, spending time reading and discussing and expressing my artistic side in cake baking and decorating. In fact, I run a small personal business, Dough & Drops, baking cakes, cupcakes and more. Also, I am very interested in divergent cultures and countries, thus always keeping myself up to date, as much as possible, with regards to current affairs. Also, I try not to miss out on opportunities to visit other countries. One of the most prominent experiences in my life was a six week missionary work adventure in a number of villages in Ethiopia.

VALLETTA MARKET STALLS EXISTING TROLLEY
EXISTING TROLLEY SAME ASSEMBLY PROCESS SAME ASSEMBLY PROCESS For years, the Valletta Market has been taken for granted and left without any form of order or aesthetic interest. However, the current location forces us to re-think their design in order to create something which complements the prestige of the new City Gate Project. Without trying to reinvent the wheel and keeping in mind the needs and traditions of the hawkers, the new design is to amalgamate the new with the old, while facilitating the work of the street vendors. The all in on trolley box, which includes the stall steel frame, vending area and drapery, is designed in such a way that the assembly can be conducted by a sole person, providing storage space and introducing colour to the current Plan dominant earthly shades. ISLAND SCOUTS HEADQUARTERS While designing the Scouts Headquarters, one of the main challenges was the sensitivity towards the site, as the proposed building is located in a crucial point on the Floriana Bastions. Therefore, the submitted design was formed in such a way as to have the least visual impact possible from neighboring locations while focusing on re-injecting life into the Maltese scouting scene through a holistic design. The V18 Project, which is to establish Valletta and its surroundings as a center of excellence, reaffirms the need for the redevelopment of the Island Headquarters, both for the scouting community but also for the benefit of the general public.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
All proposed interventions are sensitive to the site and strive to re-inject life into the Maltese scouting scene, through a holistic design, where the past and present use, coupled with the vision for the future were well studied. WORK EXPIRIENCE
Under the guidance of Dr. Pierre Farrugia and together with the rest of the team at Febs Periti Ltd, the company was commission to take care of the structural analysis and design of the Oncology Center. Most of the building was constructed using the column, flat-slab system, which involved the use of Scia structural engineering, design and analysis software. Working hand in hand with CGE Ltd. and FMS, this was one of the most exciting projects which commenced my career as a Structural Engineer.

12 THESIS PROJECT: MSIDA BRIDGE
UNIVERSITY PROJECTS
In 2012, one of the thesis projects offered to us by the University of Malta, was the design of the Msida junction including a bridge going across Valley Road Birkirkara. The study prior to the design of the bridge involved a complete analysis of how the current situation works, thus also introducing a whole new system of how the junction operates in order to complement the bridge. The structure consists of a prestressed concrete support system, completed with a steel deck. The aim of the design was to introduce, as much as possible, a minimally invasive structure, while still injecting beauty to the chaotic streets of Msida.
