Ibu Nimas have been working in Taman Kota for 8 years now, she is 50 years old now and her salary is IDR. 84.00/week. She takes turns with the other Taman Kota maintainer every week. She starts working at 8 o clock until around 4 o clock in the afternoon. As a maintainer her job is to clean the toilet, water the plant, sweep the path and fertilize the plant. Her routine of watering the plants depends on the weather too, if it is raining, it s unnecessary for her to water the plant. If it is hot then she waters the plant twice a day, morning and afternoon. She also fertilizes the plant four times every month. Ibu Nimas said that the facility is ok in Taman Kota. But she doesn t know who are the authorities of Taman Kota they never visit Taman Kota. She also said that the playground in Taman Kota are abandoned, it s broken. The authority had fixed it once, but they never came back since then. The playgrounds are rusty and the information boards are dirty.

Summary of Interview: Bapak Tarigan is a visitor in Taman Kota. He retired from his job already and he is 53 years old now. Bapak Tarigan visits Taman Kota for the purpose of exercising, he comes to Taman Kota really often for the past two months; he come to Taman Kota almost everyday. Bapak Tarigan does have complaint about the facility in Taman Kota. The jogging path, it is slippery sometimes especially after raining. He thinks that, it is not really safe especially for old people like himself. All of the playgrounds and monkey bars are rusty and broken too. Due to the rusting, some of the surfaces are rough and sharp, which is not safe for children. Bapak Tarigan wish that this can be fixed, however he doesn t have the right to fix it. He thinks the way to fix these facilities is to make a proposal for the manager/authority someone who is in charge of the facility. Bapak Tarigan also said that he wouldn t mind paying Taman Kota entrance for better facilities.
