BAR AREA
2-Design concept: • Draft layout • Mood imagery & finishes board • Sketch joinery details • Draft visuals • Brand concept
Existing Bar Plan
Seating Option:
Lighting Options:
The bar stools have been chosen carefully so that although they create an industrial style feeling, they are not as chunky and space consuming.
The overhead light options can be used individually or as a mixture of both types. Light Strips can be places on shelves.
Problems: • More than necessary protrusion of the bar area which wastes seating space. • The Protrusion also visually breaks the space and blocks the view. • Covering up Boiler and piping area surround
Proposed bar plan
Solutions: • Demolishing the protruded area and adding space to the seating area inside the restaurant. • Creating a new hidden working area in same line with the main bar table • A new covering wall is installed which is both practical from outside area and inside the bar. It has been designed with a blackboard outside which any information can be exposed to customers
Overhead bar design:
A matching m black/Iron metal same as the worktop surface can be used for the frame structures overhead. The structure provides support for the pendant lightings and hanging frames. As shown in the picture it can house some shelves as well which can be used for storing bottles. Black picture frames have photos, which would be selected by Ned Design to ensure they suit the interior design style.

VIP AREA Ideas for VIP Area The VIP wall painted black with the lighting structure shown in the photo. The black wall continues in the form of an arrow on the VIP corner. The bricks on the rest of the wall are painted black randomly.
1
Option A
The VIP wall painted black with the lighting structure shown in the photo and above detailed front view. The black wall continues in the form of an arrow on the VIP corner. The bricks on the rest of the wall are painted black randomly.
Option B
Divider Design Ideas
11
• The structure is used to hide the entrance to WC areas from the VIP section. It also provides a more private space for customers. • The structure would ow the style of the metal design in the bar area. • It is also practical as it provides space for plants and greenery to add to the freshness of space.
In the option B VIP walls, some bicycle wheels are painted white on the black brick wall. There would be a few real bicycle wheels as well and the vintage light bulbs would be placed on those to lite the VIP area.
The colours shown here are the main colour scheme of the restaurant. Fabric and wood nish for the chairs and sofa in VIP area are also speciied here. The colourful fabrics with hint of eastern pattern are used for cushions The same patterned fabrics are used randomly for the back of a some armchairs in the main area.
ENTRANCE AREA
Option A
Option B
To make the columns in the main restaurant area less noticeable we have decided to create a beam across the columns, make all the column the same size and create narrower sub beams across the ceiling. The part with the lower celling will have the beams ush to it and the higher part of the ceiling will have them hanging lower with the same level as the lower part. Therefore, there would be same level of the ceiling in all parts. Vintage light bulbs can be hung from the beams.
Option A The right hand side wall continues with the brick with some bricks painted black. Also frames with black metal and glass are hanged from the ceiling randomly with black chains. Some frames can have a picture created on the wall behind, which is painted black directly on the brick.
Option B
Another option for the right wall is to have a metal mesh installed on the brick wall. It will cover all the damaged parts of the brick and there wouldn’t be any need to paint the bricks. Also artwork and decoration can be installed directly on the mesh. Lighting can be placed above bench area to lit up the walls and create the eect shown in the photo.
Main Corner Area To make the ceiling in the main area look the same level, there is a very simple solution. We have designed square slabs with pendant vintage bulb hanging down. The part with the lower celling will have the slabs ush to it and the higher part of the have them hanging ceiling will h lower with the same level as the lower part. Therefore, there would be same level of the ceiling in all parts.
The area on the left hand side of the restaurant is designed particularly to be welcoming for the people seeing through windows outside in. This corner is furnished with very confortable furniture. The concrete tile ooring will be wrapped over to cover the wall as well. As shown in the photo the lighting is designed very uniquely to use black piping to cover the cables. These piping are perfectly make the design ows from the bar area over head structure
12
Commercial Design 3- Design Development: • Scheme plans • Lighting layout • Elevation plans • Detail builders work drawings • Photo-realistic visuals
1- Air conditioners can be place between any of the ceiling area and the dropped level panels with the "zigzag" wiring design. The 50 cm space above would allow perfect location for the Air conditioners. However, the best location for this needs to be discussed with the technician to make sure good ventilation is provided.

Architectural Projects Most of my architectural project are done during my BA study in Yerevan State University of Architecture in Armenia (20022008) and my work experience in Iran (2008-2010) .
Architectural design concept 4 Star hotel in Caspian sea coast North Iran
Undergraduate final project: Hotel with 120 guest capacity
BA Final year project was to design a 4 star hotel with the capacity of 120 guests, entertainment suits and indoor pool.
16
Architectural Projects Reconstruction of an ancient caravanserai in historical city Yazd - Iran Brief: To renovate and decorate an old caravanserai to start to attract tourists and visitors. Add more decorative values to create a unique experience of t raditional Persian style design.
Design of a dancing fountain Gheshm Island South of Iran Brief: To design a small feature musical fountain for a central park in a tropical area in south of Iran. This includes more than 100 of water jets and laser lights with 20 movement controls. A walking path was designed for people to walk through the fountain.
17
Conceptual Installations Screens of society and space : Living in Iran for 20 years of my life I wanted to show my criticism of the issue of gender divisions in society, and highlight the need for breaking the boundaries within both architectural designs and societies. I looked critically at the issue of screens in architectural and metaphoric realms. Whilst screens can be viewed as positive utilitarian objects in space, for instance as a functional or decorative divider screen within interior space that add privacy to it, from my personal observations they are hugely used as barriers between people, especially between genders and reduce people’s interaction in the space. I explored the utility of screens as tools of segregation on three realms; Individual, domestic and social in my research. I made dierent installations and models which all had concepts and experiments behind.
18
Conceptual Installations Milk Installation was a team work project aimed to design a protest structure for Chelsea College of Art parade ground. The use of IV drips in this installation demonstrates a metaphoric realm of both 7 continents in the world, and one empty IV drip presenting Africa as the poorest continent. This at the same time presented the statistic showing 1 out of 7 people are suering nutrition deficiency in the world.
The disproportion of food and equality of social level
Design process:
World hunger: There are 924 million undernourished in the world today. That means one in seven people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life.
The Idea: This project aims to make people aware about the problem of world hunger by communication through the protest structure of the intravenous drip filled with milk. The structure implies the inequality of food distribution through the developing world compare to the advanced world.
