Oct 10 ABLAZE – FILM SCREENING This is an unforgettable story about a lost film, a grandson’s journey to learn more about his past, and the early days of the First Nations rights movement. Premiering at the 2021 Melbourne Film Festival, Ablaze documents the discovery of possibly the first-ever Aboriginal filmmaker. The film was six years in the making for directors Tiriki Onus, an opera singer and academic, and

CALOUNDRA ARTIST MARKET Caloundra Artist Market is an exciting opportunity to see original artwork by local artists in the beautiful Strand building at the top of town. Be inspired by the variety of artworks and sneak in some gift shopping for those hard-to-buy-for loved ones. Each Caloundra market is a unique event. SIMON GARDENER’S BIG STADIUM ROCK SHOW Relive the days of fist-pumping, headbanging, anthem-screaming classic rock from the ’80s and ’90s. This set will include heavy rock classics from monsters of the genre like Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Kiss, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne and more. A dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to Support Act, Australia’s only charity delivering crisis relief, mental health and wellbeing services to artists, crew and music workers who are doing it tough.
