Dr. Evan Allen graduated from Loma Linda University Medical School on a scholarship from the U.S. Air Force and is certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He created Doctor Allen Wellness & Medical Center in 2014 and has been named as one of the “Top Family Physicians” in the nation.
Tod Story, the executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada, joined the ACLU of Nevada in 2013. Tod has been active in many community and political organizations. Previously, Tod was the district director for U.S. Representative Shelley Berkley, where he oversaw the community outreach, constituent services, and electronic communications, and he had been an aide to U.S. Senator Richard Bryan.
Dr. Jeffrey Ng A Board Certified Family physician; his honors include voted Top Doc 20072015 in multiple Vegas magazines by his peers, UNR Clinical Preceptor of the year (2009-10), and Nevada State Academy’s President-Elect (2015-16). He also served as former MEC member at Centennial Hills and Mountain View Hospital. He is currently at Jacobs Medical Associates.
Dr. Jim Wright is an internationally accredited dentist specializing in general, holistic, and cosmetic dentistry. He and his wife, Debby, support many local charities. Dr. Wright has been the recipient of the St. Therese Center’s Yellow Rose Award and was chosen by the Miss America Pageant to work with the Nevada contestants.
Dr. Kevin Rayls in an incredibly passionate and dedicated general surgeon. Since 1997, Dr. Rayls has been a local practitioner in Las Vegas, where he founded Mountain West. He provides quality and innovative surgical care while continuing to address the individual needs required by each of his patients.
Dr. Christian A. Pham, a dentist at Crestview Dental, had his dental training at Boston University with a scholarship from the Air Force, later serving in the Air Force as a Captain. He went to University of Maryland for training in comprehensive dentistry. After heading to Germany, he obtained a Master of Science degree in orthodontics at the International Medical College.
Dr. Michael Schneier is a board certified neurosurgeon at Centennial Hills Medical Center. He attended medical school at New York University and went on to do his neurosurgery training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Providing high-quality images of anatomy in real time in both 2D and 3D, Dr. Schneier performs less invasive surgeries and more accurate procedures.
Dr. Teddy B. Sim Jr., owner and chiropractic physician of ChiropracTED, LLC, uses multi-dimensional education technique to educate patients about realigning the body with proper biomechanics and addressing spinal subluxation. He has become a physical health advocate through his health blog (drteddysim.blogspot.com) and his work as a Zumba® Fitness instructor, utilizing Zumba ® in promotion of charitable contributions.
Dr. Thomas Umbach of Blossom Bariatrics is a nationally recognized, board-certified, and fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon. He’s been recognized as one of the nation’s top bariatric surgeons by Newsweek and Time magazines. He was also named as one of the U.S. Commerce Association’s “Best Weight Loss Management Physicians” for 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Edward M. Zimmerman, MD, has degrees from Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, and George Washington University School of Medicine. He is the president of the American Board of Laser Surgery and was voted Silver State “Best Cosmetic Surgeon” 2013 and 2014. He directs Las Vegas Laser & Lipo, a nationally accredited surgical facility dedicated to the refinement and delivery of safe aesthetic procedures.
Shawn Tempesta is the co-host of KTNV-TV’s The Morning Blend and host of Las Vegas’ number one afternoon radio show on Mix 94.1. He is very active with community events and charities and loves living in the southwest valley with his wife and pets.
Frank P. Gatski, President/CEO of Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services, is a self-made businessman in the commercial real estate industry. He became an attorney over two decades ago and is now one of the largest plaintiff injury law firms in the country, with offices in Nevada, California, Arizona, Illinois and Indiana.
Dr. Michael Crovetti Jr., orthopedic surgeon, attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He founded the state-of-the-art surgery center, Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, here in Las Vegas. Having been in practice for 16 years, he’s helped over 1,000 patients recover at astonishing rates with his innovative techniques and less invasive surgeries.
