Woodland Meadow Farms started in the wedding business with an offbeat wedding. In 2009, John Beal, a former landscaping contractor, as well a longtime pro dirt bike racer, transformed an aging tree farm to accommodate his sister's medieval-themed wedding. Afterwards, he was encouraged to make it a full-fledged business and 2010 became the first season of weddings at Woodland Meadow Farms. Over the years, Woodland Meadow Farms became a venue to attract people who don't necessarily fit the "traditional wedding" mold, reflecting the owners' unique personalities. In 2013, Woodland Meadow Farms expanded to include a 50acre farm less than a mile down the road, and a new wedding venue was created there too.
