Join us in the Gardens as we take a journey through a caterpillar’s transformation into a beautiful butterfly. The Children’s Garden will transform into a colorful and magical place inspired by Eric Carle’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Enjoy crafts, activities and imaginative displays that will capture the essence of one of the most beloved children’s stories. with fun facts, interactive readings, a craft FREE for members. Cost for nonmembers is $6 per person, $10 per person for Crystal Bridge and The Very Hungry Caterpillar package. FREE for members of the Gardens and FREE for children 2 and under.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is not the only caterpillar that’s hungry. Did you know caterpillars can eat three times their weight in food every day? In this class, we’ll learn all about the fascinating caterpillar and a game to wrap it all up.
