About that Annual Fund
Your Annual Contribution Makes the Gardens Glow
By Kelley Barnes, Director of Development
In 2011, the responsibility for managing and operating the Myriad Botanical Gardens was transferred from the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department to the Myriad Gardens Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Foundation must now raise significant funds to ensure it can maintain all of the grounds, programs and operations at the highest level. Because of the generous support from people like you to the Garden’s Annual Fund, we are able to: provide educational programs for thousands of children and adults each year; cultivate collections of plants specially selected to thrive in our region; and provide a bevy of entertainment and recreational activities that the community has come to appreciate and enjoy at the Gardens.
There are always so many wonderful things going on, and it takes your generosity to continue this exciting new era for the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
Please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund to help grow and sustain our gardens. We have enclosed an envelope for your convenience.
$50 funds admission to the Gardens for a class of elementary school students $100 provides supplies for art classes in the Children’s Garden $250 funds 200 spring bulbs $500 helps replace a weather-damaged tree $1,000 provides a whole summer full of camp scholarships $2,000 could help underwrite our Horticulture or education internship
Your organization can demonstrate its commitment to education and the community through our corporate giving programs which include sponsorship, membership, matching gifts, annual fund donations and program underwriting.
