MRHS Welcomes New Baby of the Year
It’s a Boy! Mena Regional Health System welcomes the First Baby of the New Year! Dr. Carlos Rocha
delivered Chism Wade Beggs on January 1, 2019 with the assistance of Mark Hamelink, CRNA. Baby Beck was born at 11:27 a.m. weighing 5 lbs. 14 oz. and measuring 18 ¼ inches. Proud parents are Taylor and Ashleigh Beggs. The family was honored with the presentation of a gift basket full of generous donations from several local businesses including: Union Bank of Mena, Diamond Bank, First Financial Bank, James SuperSave Foods, Janssen Florist and Gifts, Freedom Pharmacy, Mena Regional Auxiliary, The Corner Shoppe, and Mena Regional Health System.

Wesley Wells, MRHS Radiology Technologist, was recently named the iCARE Star Employee of the Quarter. Several nominations were submitted on Wesley’s behalf. With this honor, Wesley received a paid day off, a personal plaque, reserved parking for the duration of the quarter and his name on the progressive plaque displayed on the iCARE Wall of Fame.
