WEDDING STORY TELLING When you book me to tell the story of your wedding day you are booking far more than just a wedding photographer. I will be there with you both to help, support and document your wedding. Just to say you can trust me, I have your back, so when you check the weather it says dry and sunny you set up for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, then just as the bride opens her mouth to say “I do” there is a massive clap of thunder followed quickly by a hail storm in high summer, I get the shots of everyone dashing into the tiny gazebo while you carry on your ceremony then I’ll help carry the chairs .
When you discover your beautiful shoes have given you a massive blister I’ll get your flatties, when you don’t know what to do with your button hole, we’ll help you fix it to your jacket the right way round, (amongst our kit we carry pins, safety pins, blue tack, scissors and pain killers) when your dress gaps and you need tit tape just call me in the morning and I’ll pick it up on my way over (yes this happened) when a swarm of wasps cover your reception area I’ll help you move your tables and chairs,
If your tractor breaks down with half your guests in and the bride arrives in the back of a white transit van, I’ll be there to photograph it and of course you can borrow my car to pick up the rest of the guests (yes this happened too) when your family want twenty group shots and you want just five I’ll help you all through it so you get what you both want.
THE ORDINARY ON AN EXTRA ORDINARY DAY. If the red arrows do a surprise fly by while in the middle of your speeches I’ll get that shot too, when you have a complete melt down days before your wedding because it is an over whelming process, of course you can call me and I’ll remind you what the important bits of the day are and tell you that it’s just you and your best friend hanging out for the day, it’s all going to be fine I promise. And if you are so worried about standing up to do your speech and you end up crying the whole way through it then when it’s over you are one starving marvin we will get you a take away from the local, it’s all cool.
These are all true stories, it really happened on a wedding day, I kid you not. And that’s was I love, the unexpected. Weddings are a glorious celebration, but sometimes life stuff happens, you think is going to ruin the day, but it really it won’t, because it becomes part of your story.
And that’s what I photograph, naturally and unobtrusively.

What happens after I take your wedding photos? Do you put you feet up for the rest of the week? Ha Ha NOOO!! Photographing a wedding takes between 8- 12 hours on the wedding day thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s just the start of being a wedding photographer.
I want to explain what happens next, because what you pay for is far more than just me taking the photographs on your wedding day. Firstly I back up all your images twice, because if one fails I have a back-up. I shoot about 2000 photographs on an average wedding day, so this takes time to do, I check each and every photo between the cards from my camera and the files that appear on my computer and my back up. Once the files are in place I start to edit the images, so I again look at each image I decide to keep it or no. I get rid of photos that are not any good, so wonky faces, eyes closed, out of focus duplicates and so on. From this selection I will have at least 400 photos that are perfect to tell your wedding story. If there is more you get more, every wedding is different. I usually choose about 20 photos for a sneak peak blog post or facebook album, as I know you are desperate to see some of your photographs. Then I make a slide show of your best bits and I send this over to you, I know it will make you cry with happiness. Once I have colour corrected, edited and processed each photograph. These images are backed up again and a final checks are carried out. I upload the files to the online gallery and then I share all the images with you. From this online gallery you can order prints from me or download your own print ready photographs. The beautiful gallery is available for 12 months, it will safely store your images for you during this time. THE COUPLE SHOOT If you feel awkward or shy in front of the camera, then you are like nearly every other person I have ever photographed. Book a pre wedding photoshoot as it will help you properly relax, plus you will get some amazing photos of you both. BAM! WINNER!! These shoots are really great to calm your nerves, as nearly everyone hates the idea of having there photograph taken. The Pre Wedding shoot or engagement shoot has two purposes, firstly I get to know you both and secondly you get to know me. HOW DOES IT WORK? It is you two and just me, we meet for a coffee chat about your wedding plans and ideas which is what we use to form your timing plan for the day. You have probably been to a few weddings but maybe not planned your own before, so the whole process can be quite daunting, on the other hand I have been to quite a few weddings, so I use my experience to help you make you day flow while maintaining a relaxed wedding day.

Wedding Albums are one of those forever items that you just have to buy. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the ideal way to preserve your wedding photographs. These albums become your family heirloom, perfect to get out each anniversary and share the love. Fine Art Albums start at ÂŁ495 for 26 pages with 30 of your favourite photos, you can of course add more pages for an extra fee.
