Pettengill Family Endowment Fund The income from the Pettengill Fund will be used at the discretion of the Head of School to offset budgetary expenses, to provide scholarships and faculty support, or to meet new goals and programs. This unrestricted endowment fund supports the most pressing needs of Country Day. “We wanted to give back to the school and its faculty, that has done so much for us and our family and played such an important role in our family’s development as students and athletesat such a young and important age. Our school is a tremendous resource for our community, and we feel it is imperative that we support Country Day for our kids and our future.” This gift was made possible through the generosity of Kroger ’40 and Kay Pettengill and Chip ’79 and Lisa ’85 Pettengill. The gift is a testament to the deep commitment of the Pettengill family and creates a lasting legacy at Country Day.
