COAST COLOUR CANVAS GALLERY Located in this beautiful rural part of the Lizard peninsula, Coast Colour Canvas was launched in 2019 in Roskilly’s original ice-cream parlour. The gallery was established by Jenny Field, Fiona Foster and Janet Golden – with the aim of showcasing their own work as well as that of other local artists as part of a guest artist programme. The gallery normally features a different guest artist each week alongside the three members of Coast Colour Canvas, showing original paintings, prints and cards at affordable prices. KESTLE BARTON This Summer, Kestle Barton presents Some People Dream a Lot, the first solo exhibition of renowned British artist Jeffery Camp’s works since his death last year. A celebration of an incredible painting life, the exhibition, on show until 5 September 2021, will focus on Camp’s Beachy Head paintings as well as his still lifes of flowers. Showing them at Kestle Barton, an ancient farmstead set in fields and woods on The Lizard, West Cornwall, when the venue’s own expansive beautiful gardens and wildflower meadows are in full bloom, provides a joyful sense of place and vitality to the works.
