The Candidates endorsed are running in competitive election races and listed in the guide by State-wide office and our 8 major counties. Congratulations to all candidates listed and featured in the guide. To those not listed in this guide, thank you for running, please continue your efforts, and we shall consider you all for endorsement in the future. We will be releasing a general election voters guide in October revaluating the candidates again before the General election in November.

The Nevada First agenda association (NFAA) was founded in 2017 by a group of politically active Nevadans who felt our state should have a chance at first place in everything, not last place. With over 400 active members, and growing, our association has a chance to help Nevadans choose the future wisely. The association is not affiliated with any political party, and has active members that are Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents. We share vision of a state with a diverse population, and a diverse economy that reaches far beyond Gaming, hospitality, mining and construction, and into Energy, Aerospace defense, and heavy industry. These new industries would supply a stable platform of jobs and economic engine to help the state weather tourism downturns, as well as pandemics. A state that has diverse sources of cost effective energy solutions and maintains a low cost of living. 2020 Nevada Primary Election Candidate Endorsement Guide | 702-381-8200

0 And, a State that values freedom and supports the United States Constitution as well as its own, with close attention to the first and second amendments. And, a state that fights corruption and lawlessness to provide a safe and stable place to call home. We share a vision of Nevadans, one for all. The 2020 Primary election will be conducted by mail according the NV Secretary of State, Barbara Cegavske who issued the following statement: Nevada plans to conduct an all-mail election for the June 9, 2020 primary election. All active registered voters in Nevada will be mailed an absentee ballot for the primary election. No action or steps, such as submitting an absentee ballot request application, will be required by individual voters in order to receive a ballot in the mail. We conducted interviews and candidate analysis with the following assigned committee consisting of the following NFAA members during March and April 2020, with the necessity of conducting the research and analysis during quarantine over the phone and internet as ordered by Governor Sisolak. In the future we may conduct in person interviews to enhance the process. NFAA 2020 Election Endorsement Committee: Blake Guinn, Sherese Settlemeyer, Scott LaFata, Frederic Conquest NFAA 2020 Election Candidate Research assistance group Rudy Clai, Michael Jardine, Terry King, Tim LaMarca The questionnaires were not released before the phone interviews and assisted the committee in the endorsement process. Once again the NFAA committee issued endorsement grades for the candidates based on research information, grading candidates by their answers if interviewed, their public service, present and past actions, public record and public service dedication to the community.

Leo Blundo - (Rep) Congressional | District 4 NFAA NfaaNevada @NevadaNFAA Commissioner Leo Blundo earns our Featured Candidate Endorsement in the Marchant, a well-known former State Assemblyman is also endorsed, although without feature, by the committee for his strong platform, A+ NRA rating, and national connections, and, Sam Peters a relative newcomer on the NV political scene who earned an NFAA mention for his platform, fundraising skills and hard work campaigning. Blake Guinn (Governor Kenny Guinn’s grandson) of the NFAA endorsement committee opted out in the vote, since he had previously publicly endorsed Mr. Blundo. Leo, a successful small businessman and current Nye County Commissioner, general election votes in the diverse CD4 voters population, and would be necessary for a win in November. Leo is living proof the American Dream is still for more than 25 years. During that time he has been poor, working as a kid and young man to help put food on the table for his family. He's been a bus boy, a 2020 Nevada Primary Election Candidate Endorsement Guide | 702-381-8200

Therefore, in 2018 Leo ran for and was elected as a Nye County Commissioner and is known as "The People's Commissioner". He brings a common sense approach to the Commission and is continually working day in, day out for the people and businesses in Nye County. He is a hands on Commissioner who has an open door policy and meets with the he would take to Congress to represent the hard working people of Nevada's 4th Congressional District. Leo and his main primary opponent Jim Marchant, share similar visions of a jobs and diversifying the economy, with Jim Marchant gaining a slight edge on this opportunity, with detailed introduction of the possible development of portable nuclear renewal energy generator sets which could help power areas in the state that have no current service. Leo has promised to turn the Yucca mountain vision into a cash payment redistrion direct federal payments to Nevadans instead of NV state distributions that might be redirected by a thirsty State legislature and Governor.

Featured NFAA Candidates primary 2020 Moises “Mo Denis (Dem) Clark County Commission | District 3 Mo, our featured primary Candidate for Clark County Commission, is currently running in the competitiv Democrat Primary election for Commission District 3. He has been working in our community for over three decades, serving in capacities such as chairing the PTA, sitting on Clark County Library Board, serving as an elected Assemblyman, current State Senator representing District 2, and Nevada families. As State Senator, Mo has taken up education, consumer rights and economic development as his key priorities, passing legislation and chairing committees to address these issues. He focused on and completed all the merit badges and requirements to earn the title Eagle Scout, which he says taught him valuable leadership skills that he still puts in practice today, and we at the NFAA value the skills and team leadership necessary to earn the extreme rank of Eagle. Mo was soon appointed to serve on the board of the Community Development Block Grants and was appointed to the Commission of Education Technology by Governor Miller. Governor Guinn later appointed him to chair the Commission. He served as Assemblyman for six years before running unopposed for State Senate in 2010 where he currently serves Nevadans.
