In order to participate, please enroll in our Youth Program by coming into the Youth Complex or calling 624-1750 for more information. Members must be 11 years old and have started the 6th grade to 18 years of age and still in high school.

Artist in Residence Club

Location: Youth Complex Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm

This month’s art will celebrate the Month of the Military Child. Come join Ms. Maddie to make friendship bracelets, use the military child’s color, purple, to create monochrome art and make a handprint collage while learning about the different places your peers have lived!

THURSDAYS

4-H Cooking Club

Location: Youth Complex Time: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Sharpen your cooking skills and make a variety of foods at the Youth Complex every Thursday. This month we will have Cooking Club in collaboration with our Thursday Family Events. We will be making Ice cream for the ice cream bar, setting up a popcorn bar, getting creative with a trail mix blend, and cooking breakfast for our families to indulge in!

The month of April is known for celebrating our Military Youth. CYP has the month filled with activities and events for youth to enjoy. Every Thursday, families will be able to join in on the fun!

Mindfulness with Coloring

Relax at the library with some quiet coloring. As with meditation, mindfulness coloring allows you to switch off extraneous thoughts and focus on the moment. Pages will be available for all ages.

Bloom Where You're Planted

Calling all kids! Help us celebrate the Month of the Military Child by contributing your handprint for our bulletin board display. Each handprint will become part of a dandelion, the official flower of the military child.

Join us for story time at the MWR Library! Every session is designed to be fun and aid in the development of your child’s early literacy skills. This month children and caregivers will participate in stories and activities celebrating the Month of the Military Child.

Time: 3:00 - 5:30 pm

You gnome what time it is! Back by popular demand, join us today to create your very own, absolutely adorable gnome from yarn. We'll provide the supplies and walk you through the steps. Come prepared to tie some knots and bring a gnome home!

BGCA Keystone Club

Location: Youth Complex Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Ages: 14-18

Keystone club provides leadership development opportunities to Sigonella teens, ages 14-18, in four focus areas including Academic Success, Career Preparation, Community Service, and Teen Outreach. Come in to lean how you can be an active member of our Sigonella community!

Dungeons and Dragons Club

Location: Youth Complex Time: 4:00 - 10:00 pm

Our Characters are finished and the campaign has started. But, it is never too late to jump in on the adventure. Come use your imagination and join us in a world full of mythical creatures where everything happens by chance.

BGCA Operation Megaphone Lock-In

Location: Youth Complex (Sign-up is required. Registered members only)

Time: 8:00 pm - 8:00 am

During the Month of the Military Child, all military youth programs will come together and offer OMP, an annual event that connects military teens from around the world. As in years past, OMP will feature a theme, service project, and fun activities to unite all military youth program communities worldwide.
