Few people work alone in today’s work environment. We all depend on others to get our work done. We are part of teams, work groups, ad-hoc committees, task forces, crews, etc. Collectively, we generate ideas, manufacture products, provide services, sell goods and much more. By increasing the level of conscious awareness of how a team develops, high performance and success is guaranteed from the start. We reduce team members’ level of anxiety due to the unknown and the unexpected. The team “gels” into action, each and every one knows his or her roles and what is expected. The process takes an active life and dynamic of its own. Team members acknowledge who they are as individuals, they leverage their differences and talents positively, and take ownership responsibly to accomplish the task at hand. Your team undoubtedly, will be ready and able to “hit the ground running” toward success!

Ages 8-12. Has music been cut from your child’s education? Music is good for your child. Listening to music involves multiple parts of the brain. Music is a language with symbols, sounds, vocabulary, grammar and inflection in its communication. The simple act of hearing a rhythm stimulates the brain on both the left and right sides. Hearing and learning to play music helps the brain develop the potential to learn more effectively on a number of levels. Music:

• Develops listening skills • Helps develop neural pathways in the brain, laying the foundation for language and math skills • Allows kids to express their emotions and physical energy in healthy ways • Gives children a way to connect with their natural desire for beauty, spirituality and harmony • Teaches them the natural order that exists in Creation and introduces the concepts of harmony and cooperation

Students will learn how to read music and be introduced to various instruments including wind, string and hybrid (piano). Presentation: December 2, time: TBA.
