Thispast year I havemadealot of changesthat arebetteringmeasaperson.DuringtheSpring of 2022 at SimmonsUniversity,I realized it wasn? t theright fit for me I wasreally missing musicinmy lifeand SimmonsUniversitydidnot offer awell established musicprogram I also realizedthat my Physical Therapy major was not fulfilling,soI appliedtoother universities. Prior toacceptingaplaceat Bridgewater State, I met withtheheadof themusicdepartment, Dr.DonaldRunning.Heinvited meto sit ina privatelessonwithProfessor Maryte Bizinkauskas Professor Bizreminded meso muchof Ms Chandler,oneof my favorite teachersfromMVRHS.I knew Bridgewater Statewastheplacefor me.I amnow a sophomoreat Bridgewater,majoringin BusinessAdministrationwithaconcentration inHumanResourcesand minoringinMusic

At thestart of theFall 2022 semester,I started takingprivatelessonswithProfessor Biz I am singingnotesI didn? t evenknow I couldhit I didn? t evenrealizehow muchI missedsinging until I begansingingagain.I havemy first performanceonDecember 12thand I amso excitedtoget back onthestagewhereI feel most myself I amalsoreally enjoyinglearning about businessat Bridgewater and onmy own I haveandcontinuetolearnsomuch about myself I amalsofortunatetohavethesupport of my family duringthesechangesandgrowing pains.I amconfident that I madetheright changetransferringtoBridgewater State University I havedevelopedsomewonderful friendships,reignitedmy passionfor singing andamlearningnew content everyday I amso excitedfor what thenew year hastooffer personallyand educationally
