HOPEFUL HEARTS 5K STAMPEDE On September 25 in Old Town Lewisville come run for the Hopeful Hearts 5k Stampede benefiting Christian Community Action! GUIDED KAYAK TOUR On September 12 Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) is hosting a guided kayak tour at Beaver Pond. All skill levels are welcome, all equipment will be provided, and children ages 9 and up can join. You will drift under willows, float past reeds and cattails, and see what wildlife is in our backyards. This area is a haven for turtles, frogs, fish, beavers, and other species. VIRTUAL ART SHOW Traditionally, Lewisville ISD’s district-wide art shows are held at Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater where students, families, and friends gather to admire students’ artwork, but this year the galleries were closed. Thanks to the Visual Arts Leadership team, LISD was able to showcase the students’ art virtually and families could view the gallery just by clicking a link.
