We desire to share the hope of the Gospel with the least reached people of the world through the means of evangelism, church planting, and Bible translation. There are people who have yet to hear the name of Jesus in their heart language.
We want to be a part of bringing the good news of our loving and gracious Savior and Redeemer to them. We believe God's ultimate purpose for us on earth is to make His name known and glorified to all.
Hello folks, I'm Dan. I'm from small town Indiana and have lived in Warsaw, IN for the past 15 years. I started off as a farm kid, then moved to Montana to farm, and later went back to school for mechanical engineering. By the grace of God, He allowed me to cross paths with Warsaw Community Church when I moved back home to Indiana. At that time, I became hungry for God's Word God has taken me on a journey through His Word, revealing His character, and re-establishing my relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for my time in the medical device industry, but I knew God was calling us into something much greater. In my free time, I am an avid woodworker, enjoy mountain biking, hiking, reading, and being outside.
Hi there, I'm Madison. I was raised in Northern Illinois and headed over to the Hoosier state for college. My background is in biomedical engineering, which is what brought me to the "Orthopaedic capital of the world" - Warsaw, IN. There, I worked in Regulatory and Clinical Affairs and eventually, was blessed to meet Dan. It was right around the time I met Dan that I was on my own journey to truly understanding the Gospel and who Jesus Christ is. Through deep studying of the Gospel of Mark, attending Warsaw Community Church, meeting Dan, and a lot of praying, I rededicated my life to Christ in 2018. First and foremost, I am a daughter of the King, and on the side, I love to spend time with Dan, paint, workout, read, and watch mystery films.
My first cup of hot, black coffee in the morning
Watching critters run around in the backyard
Cool breezes & sunsets
A well-tuned handplane for woodworking
Color mixing the perfect shade in watercolor
My mother-in-law's homemade spinach artichoke dip
Dumbbell snatches in any workout
Epsom salt bubble baths
"Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth."
Revelation 5:9-10
Who is Ethnos360?
Originally founded as New Tribes Mission in 1942
Focus on Church Planting and Bible Translation
Working among Unreached People Groups (UPGs)
Where do their missionaries serve?
3,000 missionaries worldwide
Currently working with 330 People Groups
Serve in 30+ countries including: Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Greenland, Indonesia, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Philippines, Senegal, Tanzania, and Thailand
What is an Unreached People Group?
An unreached people group (UPG) is a group of people with a common language and culture distinct from those around them. The closest Biblical term is “Ethnos” which is most often translated “gentile” or “nation." UPGs account for up to 1/3 of the world's population.
Ethnos360 is unique in that the organization focuses on the following things:
Unreached People Groups (UPGs)
In approximately 1/3 world’s people groups, there is no church, nor is there any work being done to establish a church. These are the people among whom Ethnos360 works.
Tribal Culture & Language
These tribes’ cultures and languages have isolated them from the Gospel. Missionaries must learn their heart language and understand their culture in order to clearly present the Gospel and effectively plant a church.
UPGs have no concept of the God of the Bible. Bible teaching begins at the same place God began with His chosen people: at the beginning in Genesis
1. Chronological Bible teaching presents a foundation for understanding Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Mature Churches
Following the pattern seen in Acts as God’s people carried out the Great Commission, missionaries seek to establish mature churches that can take their rightful place as agents of change in their own communities and partners in the Great Commission.
Here is a timeline of what an Ethnos360 career missionary can expect when entering the role of church planting. No matter which role we end up serving in Ethnos360, all missionaries serve with the purpose to move forward the gospel and help those working toward an indigenous, mature church.

This past year, we formed a "Pit Crew," which is a small group within our local church who support us in prayer, encouragement, and practical help.
"We get to support and experience missionary work through the lives of the Murphys. It's a chance for us to be involved in something bigger than ourselves - where God is working and moving we can encourage and be encouraged as we witness the faithfulness of God in their lives. We are given the opportunity to maintain a relationship with them as we stay in contact and pray specifically with and for them." -

Here is an overview of our current progress with support raising. We are so gra f l f h h f cially supported us throughout the tra e towards us is incredible.
We recently finished support raising for our onetime training costs at ETR (Phase II). These costs included our tuition and fees for the next two years. THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to that goal!
Our Current Goal
To raise monthly support to meet our daily needs while in training, and to prepare and save for the mission field for when we complete our training.
Here are the phases of our support raising as missionaries-in-training and career missionaries. We are currently in Phase III, which is funding to meet our monthly needs while in training.
Here is a breakdown of our monthly budget at ETR (Phase III). This chart shows how and where your monthly giving will be used while we are in training.
Taxes, Insurance, & Healthcare
Food, transportation, tithes/offerings, entertainment, misc. Medical, vision, and dental expenses, insurance, taxes
Software, marketing, office supplies, postage, printing, ministry travel, partnership development, hospitality, field savings
You may be asking us, "Why should I partner with you right now?" We are so glad you are asking that question! It means that you are curious, and we appreciate that
Once we graduate from Ethnos360 Training and are approved as career missionaries (that's the plan), we will be tasked with securing monthly pledges to fund our required monthly costs for the field When that time comes, at least 80% of our monthly pledges are required to begin the visa process and purchase plane tickets to get to the field. Ethnos360 will also look at the history of our monthly pledges throughout training as part of our field readiness assessment Therefore, the sooner we have our monthly pledges, the sooner we can get to work.
We consider these next two years to be an absolute blessing to begin forming and developing our partnership with you before we leave for the field.
These years are fundamental to us in developing our partnerships with our church, family, and friends who wish to be on this journey with us. Plus, it's more fun for us to have you walk alongside us from the very start!
We take missionary partnership very seriously. We want to use these next two years to learn, encourage, and pray together, especially while we are still here in the States We would be honored and blessed for you to partner with us now, as these training years are crucial to become equipped so we can thrive on the field. The enemy is still at work and does not want us to study how to reach the unreached. God is using this time and season to build an army around us to support us to go, and we are grateful for that

"I’ve consistently discovered that I get way more out of my experience with Dan and Madison than I put in. It’s that way when I respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to invest in a person, event or a ministry. I knew immediately that God put the Murphys on my heart. It’s been a blessing to partner in their mission."
- Financial Partner
"Dan and Madison have truly been an encouragement to me by leaving their professional careers and devoting their lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are no longer receiving paychecks and have complete trust that God will provide for all their needs in every step of their missionary journey. They no longer have an income stream and 100% of their financial needs now come from committed partners like you and me. I consider it both an honor and privilege to partner with Dan and Madison by supporting them in both prayer and financial
support." - Financial Partner
"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world."
