São Bruno Youth Choir You can do it when you believe! 2nd PLACE AT THE YOUNG PRAGUE FESTIVAL Quando a professora Ana Paula Mendes pensou em levar o seu grupo coral, feito e refeito ao longo dos anos letivos de meninas que cantam como atividade extracurricular, ao festival (e concurso) Young Prague Festival 2013, a ideia não era ficarem num qualquer lugar do pódio, mas sim concorrerem com os melhores de forma a que elas ‘soubessem o que é um concurso, ou seja, para saberem o que implica estar num concurso. When Ana Paula Mendes, a school teacher, thought of taking her choir group - which had been created and recreated over many academic years as a choir of young girls who sang as an extra-curricular activity - to the Young Prague Festival 2013 (also a choir competition), the idea was not to win a place on the podium but to simply compete with the best. Ana Paula wanted them to “Experience being in a contest, i.e. to know what a contest entails. You have twenty minutes to enter, sing and exit and you must have an impeccable posture the entire time”.
