O Complexo Desportivo do Jamor é a maior estrutura desportiva do género no país, oferecendo múltiplos equipamentos que permitem a prática de uma panóplia de modalidades desportivas. Estando inserindo em reserva ecológica nacional, o Jamor revela-se um bem comum integrando uma área que se considera imprescindível do ponto de vista ambiental e ecológico. Para além disso, localiza-se numa área de abundantes águas, com relevo para o Rio Jamor, o que desde sempre incentivou à atividade agrícola. A sua mata revela-se um espaço verde de elevada importância para o concelho, até porque é bastante procurada por munícipes e visitantes, que aqui chegam para exercitar o físico e passear.
Jamor Sports Complex is the largest sports centre in the country, with sports facilities allowing the practice of different sporting activities. Integrated in the national ecological reserve, Jamor proved to be a common asset comprising an area considerably vital to environment and ecology. Moreover, it is situated in a full area water-supply, especially the Jamor River, which has always encouraged the agricultural activity. Its woods became a green area extremely important to the municipality; hence it is searched for local citizens and visitors who come to practice physical exercise or to have a stroll.
