Switcher kompensiert über myclimate.org den gesamten CO2 Ausstoss (0.390 kg), welcher bei der Produktion (Papier, Druckfarbe, Versand) dieses Kataloges entstand.

It is advisable not to store products made from 100% natural fibres or containing a percentage of natural fibres for more than 18 months. The longer the goods are stored, the more the standard of quality generally falls. This is particularly the case with dark colours.

We regularly receive complaints where the fabric has been in contact with substances containing bleach or peroxide. The reactive dyestuff used to colour cotton cannot withstand treatment with such substances. Such substances destroy the dye. This causes stains, which are often clearly visible, or a complete loss of colour.

Des produits 100% polyester (PET) ou avec un pourcentage en PET (p.ex. le molleton / sweat) ne doivent pas être imprimés directement parce qu‘une réaction chimique est possible entre la teinture du tissu (teinture disperse) et la pâte de l‘imprimé. Avant l‘application de l‘imprimé final il est conseillé d‘appliquer une couche d‘imprimé transparente et fine sur le tissu pour éviter chaque contact entre le tissu et l‘imprimé final.
Artikel aus 100% Polyester (PET) oder mit PETAnteil (z.B. Molleton / Sweat) sollten nicht direkt bedruckt werden, da es zu einer chemischen Reaktion zwischen Stofffarbe (Dispersionsfärbung) und Druckfarbe kommen kann. Vor dem farbigen Druck sollte eine dünne, durchsichtige Druckschicht auf den Stoff gelegt werden, um eine Berührung der Farbstoffe zu verhindern.
100% polyester (PET) products or those containing a percentage of PET (e.g. flannelette / fleece) must not be printed on directly because a chemical reaction is possible between the fabric dye (disperse dye) and the printing paste. Before applying the final print it is recommended that a thin layer of transparent printed material should be applied to the fabric to avoid any contact between the fabric and the final print.

Nous avons constaté que ces changements de couleur apparaissent seulement quand le vêtement est lavé avec d‘autres vêtements de couleur foncée. La composition de la couleur jaune montre une forte tendance à attirer magnétiquement des particules de couleur fonçée, qui se trouvent dans l‘eau de la machine à laver. Ceci cause le changement de couleur.
Verfärbungen treten auf, wenn die T-Shirts zusammen mit dunkleren Stoffen gewaschen werden. Die Farbstoffzusammensetzung der gelben Farbe zeigt starke Tendenz, die überschüssigen im Waschwasser befindlichen dunklen Farbpartikel anzuziehen. Dies führt dann zu der Verfärbung.
We have noted that such changes of colour only occur when the garment is washed with other dark-coloured clothes. Composition of the colour yellow shows a high tendency to magnetically attract particles of dark colour present in the water of the washing machine. This causes the change of colour.

• Ces produits sont plus exigants et sensibles en comparaison avec des produits de couleur uni. Un léger dégorgement de la couleur fonçée sur la couleur claire est inévitable. Ce qui peut être contrôlé est le degré du dégorgement. Pour cette raison Switcher exige une note minimum de 4 sur 5 lors des tests de qualité. • Les produits ne doivent pas être lavés plus chaud qu‘indiqué dans l‘instruction de lavage. Déjà une légère augmentation de la température peut entraîner à un dégorgement visible. • Ces produits doivent être lavés de préférence avec une lessive liquide, les lessives en poudre sont à éviter.
• Diese Produkte sind anspruchvoller und heikler als unifarbene Produkte, ein leichtes Ausbluten der dunkleren auf die hellere Farbe ist unvermeidbar. Was kontrolliert werden kann, ist der Grad des Ausblutens, daher verlangt Switcher eine Testnote von minimum 4. • Die Produkte dürfen auf keinen Fall heisser als auf den Pflegeetiketten markiert gewaschen werden. Schon eine leichte Erhöhung der Waschtemperatur kann zu sichtbar verstärktem Ausbluten führen. • Die Produkte sollten mit flüssigem Feinwaschmittel gewaschen werden, Waschpulver sollte vermieden werden.
• These products are more demanding and sensitive compared to plain products. A slight infiltration of the dark colour onto the light colour is inevitable. What can be controlled is the degree of infiltration. For this reason Switcher demands a minimum score of 4 out of 5 in quality tests. • Products must not be washed hotter than indicated in washing instructions. Even a slight increase in temperature can cause visible colour overlays. • These products should preferably be washed with a liquid detergent, and powders are to be avoided.

Moins c‘est (souvent) mieux! Il nous est arrivé de reçevoir en retour par des clients des pièces en couleur foncée lavées, qui montraient des tâches blanchâtres assez visibles dû à un excédent de lessive lors du lavage. Informez-vous concernant le degré de dureté de l’eau et dosez la lessive en conséquence (eau douce = moins de lessive). Lavez à la température la plus basse possible. Utilisez des produits biologiquement dégradables. Recourez autant que possible à une lessive liquide.
Weniger ist oft mehr. Wir haben schon mehrmals gewaschene dunkelfarbige Teile zurückbekommen mit massiven Waschpulverrückständen. Dies zeigt sich in weisslichen Flecken auf dem Stoff. Über die Wasserhärte Bescheid wissen und entsprechend dosieren (weiches Wasser = weniger Waschpulver). Mit niedriger Waschtemperatur waschen. Biologisch abbaubare Produkte benützen.
Less is (often) better! We have had washed dark garments returned to us by customers which showed fairly visible whitish stains due to the use of excessive detergent when washing. Find out the degree of hardness of the water and measure the detergent accordingly (soft water = less detergent). Wash at the lowest possible temperature. Use biologically degradable products. Use a liquid detergent where possible.
