WITH THE FINAL OUT RECORDED, Adam Eaton and his Washington Nationals were able to celebrate the franchise’s first World Series Championship on Oct. 30, 2019. The fact that they got so far surprised a great majority of fans of Major League Baseball, considering Washington had a record of 19-31 in late May, and just making the playoffs seemed to be a herculean task.
