MU20 School of Opportunity is an initiative inspired by the vision, philosophies, and theories of our patron, Dr. Sumer Singh. Dr. Singh, a visionary educator, has fearlessly traversed the realms of knowledge for more than half a century, weaving an extraordinary tapestry of enlightenment and empowerment for high school students through the transformative power of opportunities. After mentoring European and Asian royalty, Secretaries in the Government, Army Generals, Cabinet Ministers, and Heads of prominent schools while mentoring students at schools like Gordonstoun and UWC, UK, The Doon School, Deheradun The Daly College, Indore, Lawrence, Sanawar, The Asian School, Dehradun and, Punjab Public School, Nabha he has devised this revolutionary concept that is set to ripple across the educational universe, leaving an indomitable legacy of empowered minds and transformed lives.

Dr. Singh, with his distinguished background, has held esteemed positions such as Advisor on Education to the Government of Punjab, Chairman of the Indian Public Schools Conference, and trustee and advisor on the Executive Board of Round Square, UK, and on the Board of Global Connections. His extensive involvement with these prestigious networks significantly strengthened his belief that schools are capable of creating more opportunities while working together than they could on their own.
