Miss Jones

Miss Krumholtz

Gail is delighted to be celebrating her 24th anniversary of participation in the MTC/MBA productions. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying has been one of her favourite musicals since childhood, when her father used to lead the family in singalongs of “A Secretary is Not a Toy.” Other past favourite roles include Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Nurse Ratchet in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Mama Rose in Gypsy. When not treading the boards at MTC, Gail plays the role of President of The Asper Foundation, which has been spearheading the creation of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, set to open this September. Gail would like to thank her husband Mike and sons Stephen and Jonathan for their love and support and would like to dedicate this performance to her late father, Israel Asper and to the greatest Miss Jones ever, Susie Catellier.

After a seven-year absence, Krista is thrilled to be returning to the stage in her third MTC/ MBA production in the role of Miss Krumholtz – a busybody of a secretary whose favourite time of day is her coffee break. In real life, Krista is the Acting City Solicitor for the City of Winnipeg, practising primarily in the areas of municipal and commercial law. Krista would like to thank her family, friends and colleagues for their support, and to the tremendous crew at MTC for their hard work and dedication in making this show a reality!

Paul Cooper J.B. Biggley

Andrea Bellhouse Secretary

BIO SPOILER ALERT Paul will not be playing a Nazi this year.

Andrea is pleased to be joining the cast of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for her first MTC/MBA collaboration! A music major in a former life, Andrea is currently a second year law student. Living proof that you can take the girl out of music, but you can never take the music out of the girl! Andrea thanks her family for continuing to support her performance addiction, and thanks to the creative team (Robb, Melinda, Chuck, Jason, Bill, Sofia, Eric), fellow cast members, and everyone else behind the scenes for welcoming her into the fold. 8

In the four years since his last appearance in the MTC/MBA show, Paul has taken on the far more serious role of fatherhood, and is happily failing miserably at being a good role model for his son Declan. He has also taken on the even more seriouser role of Crown Attorney at Manitoba Justice – Prosecutions and continues to try his best to behave in that environment. More rehearsal is required. Paul would like to thank his new employer, the cast and crew of this year’s show who make this look far easier than it is and more fun than you could believe, and most of all his lovely wife Anne, who in addition to providing him with a lovely home and family must constantly be wondering what she did to deserve all this.
