Polish cuisine

Draws attention to the places, people and events that support the image of Polish as a country with rich traditions, while creative, modern and dynamic.

Polish Presidency is a great opportunity to promote polish cuisine. One of the most cherished Polish chefs, Adam Chrząstowski, oversees the creation of exquisite menu of Polish dishes based on native products for high-level meetings in Poland and Brussels.

Publication available on the presidency portal

Foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during the presidency also receive a package of recipies of the Polish cuisine, arranged in a modern way by 16 chefs, including three foreigners working in the best Polish restaurants. The starting point for each of the recipies is the product generally evocative of Polish cuisine (such as herring, cucumber, buckwheat, poppy, game). Each recipe precedes a description understandable for a foreigner, including its cultural context.
