Students Reach out to help Fellow Student Jeff Williams The Midwestern State Athletics Department dedicated April 12, to Jeff Williams, a redshirt freshman football player, who was going through rehab at the Baylor University Medical Center after he was critically injured in a late night automobile accident in February. Jeff Williams Sports Saturday featured the football spring game, a regular season softball game and soccer exhibitions. The day featured MSU’s annual spring game at the practice fields which was followed by an important Lone Star Conference North Division softball doubleheader at Mustangs Park. Simultaneously the men’s soccer team played a pair of exhibition contests at the MSU Soccer Field. Food, family fun, t-shirts, commemorative bracelets and inflatable games were made available between the game fields with all proceeds going to the Jeff Williams Fund.
