Donna DePaul Bartynski ’70 and Colleen McNamara ’08 represented the United States at the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Szeged, Hungary in July 2013. Donna and Colleen train together in Philadelphia on the Schuylkill and have become good friends through dragon boating. Eileen Rigney Dougherty ’72 announces the marriage of her son, Andrew, to Amy McCandless, on October 3, 2012, in Haddonfield, New Jersey. A great time was had by all. Nancy Van Meter ’69 has graduated from the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore, May 17, 2013. Schuler is an intense four year, full time course of study focusing on techniques of classical realism in an atelier environment similar to a Paris art studio in the 1800s. Every student is required to learn sculpture, drawing, watercolor, painting and anatomy. Every graduate is offered a fifth year with full scholarship to solidify techniques and plan their career. Nancy won’t know until year five what her career focus will be; as of now, she is leaning towards portraiture (human, canine, feline and other). Her new artwork will be posted on nancyvanmeter.com. Liz Anne Berko Guenther ’74 was awarded the 2013 Janet Hindson Award of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, on May 10th during Nurses Week. She also completed the Broad Street Run under1 hour and 59 minutes. On September 1, 2012 her son, Stephen married Elizabeth Joy Horahund.

Mary Ellen Boland Radloff ’75 and Mount little sister, Allison Peacock Paul ’77 had a mini reunion at Allison’s house in April when Mary Ellen was in the US visiting family. Mary Ellen still works for the Department of Defense and is currently stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. They had a great time, with Mary Ellen meeting Allison’s husband and one of their two sons. Catching up on the 26 years (almost to the day) since they had last seen each other at Mary Ellen’s wedding, they promised each other to get together more often! Maureen Phelan Wall ’75, on the death of her husband, Don Wall Sr.
