• Low/Medium Density Residential The map below illustrates the proposed future land use within the up to 12 units per net acre Birdland Area. The area is covered by two land uses Low/Medium Density Residential and General Industrial. A distinct separation of land use is • General Industrial made on Oxford Street with residential to the east and nonresidential to the west. A prime redevelopment parcel located on Second Avenue provides a great opportunity for the area. The planning committee would be supportive of a land use change to allow for commercial use that would be compatible and complimentary to the neighborhood. Map 9. Future Land Use Map
