Over the last few months, we have started work on a number of new projects. In May we started the groundworks on a housing project at Lediam gardens, Maidstone, Kent for new client Thakenham homes, this project is for the infrastructure & groundworks for 60no new units in a retirement village, the project is being managed by Milan Pavic & Joe O’Dwyer.

Our surveyors have been very busy these last few months & we will have new sites starting in the coming weeks/ months at Sittingbourne Kent, Guildford, Surrey, Maidstone Kent, Dagenham Essex, Horsham Sussex.

We have also started to see a slow down of the housing market in certain areas, but luckily with our current workload & secured pipeline of future work we are very well placed to see out any potential slowdown.

May also seen us start works on a Whelan Homes project at Green lane, Crowborough, Sussex, this development of new Homes is being overseen by Marius Gavrilovici.

June saw us start works at St Lukes cancer hospital in Guildford, this is a reinforced frame extension to the existing hospital.

June also seen us start infrastructure works at a Metro-Bus station in Brighton.

New Plant Arriving

Lenmark continue with our policy of renewing our plant on a 3-year cycle, late July saw the delivery of another six new 3t Twaites dumpers, with new plant continuing to arrive throughout 2023 we hope to achieve our target of all our in-house plant being under 3-years old by early next year.

Vacuum Excavator To The Rescue

Lenmark have been using a vacuum excavator at our site in Angmering, our client Cala Homes, took a environment decision & requested the vacuum excavator because of the archaeology & Tree Protection Orders on the existing trees.

The vacuum worked brilliantly, avoiding all the tree roots & is guaranteed to stop any service strikes, although costly, we were more than happy to use the vacuum on this delicate part of the site.

What a great job she does in our buying office, here’s to another 10 years Harriet!
