Abby Yanta

Goliad High School GPA 3.71

Abby Yanta was the captain of Goliad’s volleyball and basketball teams that made deep playoff runs. She was the district MVP in volleyball and the district’s offensive player of the year in basketball.

Yanta stayed busy in the spring during her fourth season on the varsity of the golf team by qualifying for the state tournament.

Yanta’s athletic schedule hasn’t deterred her from achieving in the classroom where she has a 3.71 grade-point average.

Yanta also participates in FFA, and is active in the Adopt a Senior and Project Graduation for the school district. Yanta will continue her athletic and academic career at Schreiner University in Kingsville in the next school year.
