Ellianna “Ellie” Morales hurled a white dodge ball across the court while she jumped to dodge a ball that flew at her.

“100 percent fun,” said Ellianna, 7, about how she loves to jump and flip on trampolines.

Ellianna was one of Point Comfort resident Donna Basta’s 11 grandchildren whom she took to Hang Time Trampoline Park for a day of fun over the summer.

“I love the bright colors,” Basta said as she looked around the building.

The trampoline park’s theme has always been motion with a goal to get kids moving since it opened in February 2015, said owner Heath Seerden.

With the desire to turn kids to activities other than video games and computers, he designed the park to fit the small size of Victoria, he said.

Since opening, Seerden said, they have hosted more than 3,000 birthday parties.

The facility has no age limit.

Attractions include a slam dunk basketball; dodgeball; a kid’s area; and Beam, an interactive jumping game. The newest attraction is Soc-Air, a mix between soccer and foosball with more bounce.

One of the most popular events for young people is Midnight Madness, he said, when the arena is lit by black lights and a DJ plays music.

Toddler Time is for children in kindergarten or younger and their parents before the facility opens Friday.

Parents who bring their kids can supervise the fun from the upstairs party area, he said.

The child’s safety is a priority.

The trampolines are secured as opposed to the old- school trampoline where a person’s foot could get caught between the springs, Seerden said.

Also, all jumpers are required to wear gripped socks. They are sold for $2 on-site.

There is something for all ages at the park, he said.  IF YOU GO
