I am a high-energy and diligent design graduate. I recently completed my Bachelor of Design from MIT Institute of Design, Pune. My designs attempt to solve ‘every day problems’ using simple, ergonomic and contextual design solutions, which can also connect on an emotional level with the user. I am especially interested in developing design solutions for emerging markets. Through my academic work and professional experience, I have learnt how to deliver high-quality work with-in tight deadlines, and budgetary constraints. I love working in multi-cultural, and diverse teams and understand the importance of the role of a good team work in delivering great products.

My project involves developing design strategies to transform a consumer product into a lifestyle product. The output lies at the intersection of product design and user experience design. I did my 5 months graduation project at Elephant Design, Pune. It is a Design led Innovation organization, solving complex challenges with focus on people and the future. They build brands, develop products, bring spaces to life and enhance experiences. Their expertise lies in the process driven approach to design, b a s e d o n s i g n i fi c a n t w o r k i n e m e r g i n g m a r k e t s a n d S t a r t - u p s . The aim of my project was to transform a consumer product into a lifestyle product. I did an extensive research that cover three broad areas: product user environment, to understand all kinds of interactions. The output lied in the interection of product design and user experience design. I was responsible for all the stages of the design process from research to ideation to prototyping. It's easy to spot a bicycle on a well-lit road. But what happens when the road you're travelling on isn't sufficiently lit? It is very difficult to spot a bicycle in an open road at night. And even if you do, you have no way to know the speed it’s moving in. This product tries to tackle this issue.

A washing device for delicate clothes

A typical washing machine, most of the time, damages them with the vigorous rubbing and rotation. Bachelors or students give most of their clothes to a laundry f o r w a s h i n g . B u t t h e y w a s h t h e i r u n d e r- g a r m e n t s t h e m s e l v e s . Thus, the product will also be very useful for them.

many times do they apply it? Most women apply kajal once in the morning before going to work or college. They only re-apply in-case they are going out.

is the most important thing that you look for in a kajal?
S o m e w o m e n l i k e e x t r e m e l y d a r k k a j a l . H e n c e i t ’s t h e fi r s t a n d t h e f o r e m o s t t h i n g t h e y look in a kajal. Most of the students tend to buy the cheaper kajals because of the budget and extensive use. Some aged women prefer kajal that they can apply by hand.
PROBLEMS I f t h e k a j a l d r o p s e v e n f r o m a s m a l l h e i g h t , i t b r e a k s a n d a s i g n i fi c a n t a m o u n t o f kajal goes to waste. I n t w i s t k a j a l s , g e t t i n g a t h i n s t r o k e b e c o m e s d i f fi c u l t a f t e r u s i n g i t f o r a f e w w e e k s as the sharp tip is lost. When you sharpen your pencil kajals, sometimes, the tip breaks and you eventually end up wasting quite a lot. Specially for young students, the unit cost of a kajal is very high. Hence they look for a cheaper brand. INTRODUCTION Ace sports is an online community of sports enthusiasts with the motto: Let's socialize over sports. A c e s p o r t s o r g a n i z e s d i f f e r e n t s p o r t s l e a g u e s t h r o u g h o u t t h e y e a r, a n d i s c u r r e n t l y o p e r a t i n g i n fi v e m a j o r c i t i e s . At Ace Sports, we strongly believe that sports can be an important way to bring sports enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds together and b u i l d t i g h t - k n i t c o m m u n i t i e s t h r o u g h o u t t h e c o u n t r y.
USER STUDY The users for this application will be people looking for company to play a particular sport i n t h e i r c i t y. They can be college students or a working professionals. Hence, the age-group is 18 to 40 years.
PROBLEMS To u n d e r s t a n d t h e o p p o r t u n i t y b e t t e r, I d i d a set of semi structured interviews and listed the major problems and loopholes in the current options. There are websites that give information about various events in the city but these are very limited and expensive. There are applications on which we can book a place to play but gathering people for the g a m e i s d i f fi c u l t . Lots of times the plans cancel or get delayed because of lack of availability of players.

Pharmaceutical companies conduct varies medical camps where, they donate medicines as a part of their CSR programs Medicines cannot be distributed independently without the involvement of a Doctor Many NGOs provide variety of medical aid facilities. They also conduct a wide variety of activities to help people get medicines.
R U L E S A N D R E G U L AT I O N S Any organization cannot independently distribute medicines unless a doctor is involved in the segregation process. He must prescribe the patients the medicines. Many policies pertaining to donating medicines by pharmaceutical companies state that they can give medic i n e s t o o r g a n i z a t i o n s o n l y i f t h e r e q u e s t i s s e n t b y a d o c t o r. Many companies donate their products directly to well established organizations or religious and social e s t a b l i s h m e n t s l i k e o r p h a n a g e s , r e l i g i o u s t r u s t s p r o v i d e d t h e m e d i c i n e s a r e g i v e n t h r o u g h a d o c t o r. While accepting any medicines from any person a proper record of all the medicines donated and its sources must be enlisted. I f a n y N G O i s a s s o c i a t e d w i t h g o v e r n m e n t f a c i l i t y, t h e N G O g e t s n o e x t r a b e n e fi t s o t h e r t h a n b e i n g r e a s sured that the operations by the organization is completely legal and to gain a better trust of the commun i t y.
CURRENT FLOW OF UNUSED MEDICINES Properly disposed off expired medicines do not posses a threat of accidental consumption or improper disposal.
Only authorizes facilities can properly destroy expired medicines.
If unused and unexpired medicines are given to pharmacies they can resell them.
Government facilities have lowest rate contracts with companies for a regular s u p p l y. T h e y a l s o u s e donated medicines.
A very small percentage of medicines are currently donated
Not knowing what to do unused medicines just lie around in the house.
Due to lack of most medicines endup in the trash.
