What is Stainless Steel 310S Pipe Fittings? Grade 310S stainless steel is better than 304 or 309 stainless steel in most environments, because it has high nickel and chromium content. It has high corrosion resistance and strength in temperatures up to 1149°C (2100°F). Stainless Steel 310S is used in an environment that includes moist corrodents in a temperature lower than its highest temperature range. Stainless Steel 310H is comprised of 0.04% – 0.10% carbon content, is used for high temperature services.
