Growing up isn’t easy and that’s definitely true for poor Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) who’s just moved from her childhood home to San Francisco after her father starts a new job. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - who steer her through life from Headquarters; the control centre of her mind. Having completed the move, her emotions begin helping her cope with starting a new life, until Joy and Sadness get separated from the other emotions and become lost inside the 11 year old’s mind. With Joy, Riley’s most important emotion, absent and trying to get home, it’s left to the dangerous trio of Disgust, Fear and Anger to set aside their differences and help Riley come to terms with her new house, new city and new school. 12 July / August 2015
