2013-2014 College Catalog | Mount Aloysius College BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE PROFESSIONAL STUDIES: NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY CONCENTRATION The Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences department offers a four-year program culminating in a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Nuclear Medicine Therapy. Students in this program will complete their general education courses in their first three years and apply to The University of Findlay for the Nuclear Medicine Therapy Program for their final year. This path affords graduates an in-depth understanding of healthcare issues confronting medical imaging departments. The curriculum provides students with a liberal arts and technical education that emphasizes compassion and competence and affords the students the opportunity to acquire the attitudes, knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective member of the health care team and serve the health needs of society.
