There will be a free, open-to-the-public reception for Xpress’ holiday art show Friday, Dec. 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. with treats and entertainment. To enter the Xpress Holiday Art Contest, here’s what you do: Create holiday-inspired art within a squarish space (9.5� H x 10.25� W) and keep the colors bright! The following mediums will work best in print: watercolor, acrylic, crayons, colored pencils or pastels (no graphite pencil, please). Entries must be received at the Xpress no later than Friday, Nov. 20. All artwork must have a completed registration form affixed to the back. Don’t forget to include a SASE if you’d like your artwork returned!
