ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS Day 1: Arrive in Reykjavik to a sumptuous welcome dinner and relax before your adventure begins.

Day 2: Transfer to Kulusuk, the gateway to Eastern Greenland, scenically situated on a small rocky island between jagged mountains and extensive fjords.

Day 7: Transfer by boat to Sand Beach for our full-day hike along the Sermilikvejen (an ancient Inuit hunter route) to Tasiilaq, a charming village surrounded by high mountains and bisected by a small river.

Day 3: Take a leisurely walk through Kulusuk village for a taste of local life. In the afternoon we’ll take a boat tour to Murder Island to see Inuit ruins, then on to the breathtaking Aputsiak Glacier.

Day 8: Today we’ll climb Mt. Somandsfjell and enjoy a picnic lunch with awe-inspiring views before descending through the aptly named Flower Valley. The afternoon is yours to explore Tasiilaq.

Days 4–5: Rise early for a boat ride along the scenic Karale Fjord. We’ll camp here for two nights, enjoying hikes with fantastic views over the Karale Fjord and the glaciers surrounding it, including the Knud Rasmussen Glacier.

Day 9: Take in the local Tasiilaq culture with a visit to a local museum, an authentic drum dance, and a stroll to the harbor.

Day 6: Depart by boat for Ikateq’s open-air WWII Museum, once an airport that served to ferry aircraft from the U.S. to Europe during WWII. We’ll continue boating to Tiniteqilaq, and then to Sermiliq ice

Day 10: Today we’ll head back to Iceland and enjoy a festive farewell dinner in Reykjavik. Day 11: We’ll end our adventure at Iceland’s famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa! Soak in the healing waters before departing for home.

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS Day 1: Arrive in Reykjavik. Meet your guide at the airport, transfer to your hotel, and explore town. Enjoy a welcome dinner tonight. Day 2: We’ll take an awe-inspiring flight over the Icelandic highlands to Egilsstadir for our 3-day hutto-hut adventure. Our first hike is to Lodmundarfjördur. Day 3: Today we’ll visit the old chapel at the foot of magnificent Lodmundarfjördur and walk along the seashore to Húsavík (House Bay). Hut accommodations tonight. Day 4: Hike from the foot of Mount Hvitserkur to Breidavík (Wide Bay), with its coastal marshes, black-sand beaches, and curious seals. Hut accommodations tonight. Day 5: We’ll continue our hike across colorful rhyolite mountains to Borgarfjördur Eystri, a picturesque inlet facing the open sea. We’ll spend tonight at a simple guesthouse. Day 6: Today we hike the Dyrfjöll Mountains, passing a glacial river and

brilliant green meadows. Transfer to Lake Lagarfljót for a night in a modern hotel. Day 7: Begin at Hengifoss Waterfall for a short walk and lunch. Transfer to the picturesque harbor of Djúpivogur for a walk along a bay, fjords, and a lagoon known for wild swans. Day 8: We’ll cruise among the icebergs of Jökulsárlón lagoon, bound for Skaftafell National Park. A short hike takes us to Svartifoss (the Black Waterfall) and the Eldhraun lava field. Day 9: Take a morning stroll on the beach of Vik before transferring to Skógafoss waterfall and Skógar Museum. Arrive in Reykjavik in time to explore before dinner. Day 10: We’ll end our adventure in style at the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa! Soak in its steamy mineral waters on our way to the airport for homeward-bound flights.
