lockJaw Clamp: Revolutionary over-center cam design provides effortless length adjustments while delivering greater clamping power and easier release than similar clamps.

These precision cut skins are designed to work with all K2 Backside models and the following Factory Team models: hellbent, Obsethed, Kung Fujas, MissDirected, and MissBehaved. Choose the skin for your ski model and length.

The innovative, minimalist design of the Z-Clip provides secure hold, reduced weight, and a quick transition on the ascent. The adjustable tail straps center the skin and sit on top of the ski, eliminating drag and friction for improved glide and efficiency.

79 Available in 125mm width, these come equipped with our patented Z-Clip for use with skis with tip and tail holes. Our Offset Skin Cutter makes trimming skins a quick 5-minute exercise.

Plush: Glide vs. Traction

Snow Depth Ruler: Allows you to quickly measure ski penetration, boot penetration, or the depth of a snow layer you’re concerned about.

BackSide Tools

You expect Backcountry poles to adjust flawlessly and not slip, and our patentpending over-center LockJaw clamp won’t disappoint. But it’s the things you don’t expect from poles that make K2 LockJaw poles uniquely valuable. They provide important information about terrain and snowpack to help you assess avalanche hazard. The inclinometer provides insight about the most critical component of terrain: steepness. And by using the Snow Depth Ruler to measure ski or boot penetration, you can gain clues about the density of the surface snow and how much is available for wind transport. Probing with the handle can also reveal information about the depth, thickness and hardness of various layers. All this data helps you assess whether or not it is safe to ski a particular slope.

Integrated K2 Climbing Skins come pre-cut, or trim-to-fit.

Our skins feature a new plush material that will confidently climb a steeper track than any reasonable track setter would make. For this reason, we focused our attention on improving glide efficiency. The low angle at which our skin fibers exit the backing material gives our skins a glide coefficient close to mohair.
